Content Creator Preview - Monday, September 20th - Information

Hello! We are working to provide content and guide creators with a special early access preview of Epic Destinies on Monday, September 20th, 2021. This gives content creators time to get their work ready and perhaps offer an early preview to their audience if they wish. The time will most likely be sometime in the mid-afternoon onwards, Eastern Time. If you are a content creator on Twitch, YouTube, the DDO Wiki, your own blog, etc. read on!


Here's how it will work: We will apply a special token to your game account that will allow you to access the Lamannia Public Preview Server despite it being closed to the general public. We are expecting to open Lamannia to a general public preview the following day, but we want to give you an opportunity to see these systems, grab screenshots, record video, and ask any questions needed prior to opening the preview to the public.


If you would like to record or livestream your content during this window, you are welcome to do so. We will NOT be able to offer live or pre-recorded interviews; our presence and the presence of whoever else is there is intended to simply be a conduit to get your questions answered and help facilitate your coverage.


IF YOU ARE INTERESTED: Hit me up through Private Message here or however you normally contact us (Twitter, email, whatever). This is NOT aimed at non-Content Creators who just want to hang out on Lamannia a day early. Rather, this is a response to a long-term ask by content creators to help them get their work done, in addition to a mild bit of hype for the people doing the work. We did this last week on the other game's side and it seemed to go well, so we are going to give it a try here, too.

Any chance when the pass goes live we get to see a developer diary or 2 about the development?

I interpreted "content creator" as a new feature (i.e, player-generated content) rather than the vernacular term and did a spit-take. If I make a slow-mo gif of said spit-take destroying my computer and get an influencer to do a reaction vid, would that merit an invite?

Yes some sort of write up from the devs so we can read as we watch people like strimtom, axel, and voodu play through the new destinies would be appreciated. Will this preview have all the destinies this time? And will the public get their chance to sink their teeth into it later that week or the the week after?

It it's anything like LOTRO did, we'll probably get access for testing the day after.

Is there always a devchat during Lamannia? is it just /joinchannel devchat ?

[Instead of keep adding broken content and items better fix existing ones. Is not funny spend hours farming for new sets legendary like the Poison ring and necklace from Red fens and get another **** bonuses. A lot of effort and time lost because don't fix whatever need to be fixed. A lot of item bugs.
