I just tried to equip the Black Pearl Ring artifact from Saltmarsh on my Wiz EK/PL, but negative energy absorption charges on ring blocks Death Aura ticks. Is this work as intended?

I wonder if they did not consider PM's or or intentionally planned for PM's not to utilize access to this item.

What PM looks at an item with +14 Wisdom and thinks, "Gee this must be for me!"? Aren't Wizards supposed to be smart?

No, just because it has Negative spell power doesn't mean it has to be perfect for PMs. Multiple other classes can benefit from both the spell power and the negative absorption (and maybe even the Wisdom).

No, because it is not broken! Seems WAI to me, it's just not an item designed for Palemasters. Didn't the +14 WISDOM clue you in to that?

There is already far too much for Pale Masters around - plus that Pale Masters very clearly dominate gameplay nowadays.

It feels here in these forums as if every 3rd discussion was about Pale Masters and what they need from spells or items to get buffed even more.
