    Default Paladin Str vs Cha?

Looking for some input on str vs Cha build, going cha (via the feywild illusionist enhancement tree) seems ultimately better, but for a THF build, seems so much harder to balance out, since you still 17 str for Imp and Greater TWF, which even in a 32 pt build, is tricky to achieve.

Thoughts? Is it ultimately better to go str based, for the sake simplicity? Is Cha that much better that it's worth it?

Str better on Pal IMO. Holy Retribution uses Sunder DC. Trip also useful on Undead.
Should still be able to get decent Cha for trance and saves.

Holy retribution uses sunder dc, but that doesn't care about stats. The actual feat/active "sunder" is better with str.

Anywhoo I think str paly is better in theory, unless you go PDK, since that's where the CHA trance of sorts is. Personally, I go charisma because it super beefs up all the non-dps aspects of paly. Your saves and healing ability goes through the roof, and i think that's a fair tradeoff. Of course, you need to go PDK or feydark illusionist to dps if you're going all CHA. And don't forget to get minimum str if you're planning on going two-handed fighting.

You always use Charisma as Paladin. I just recommend not using it as your main stat unless you're a purple dragon knight. A charisma paladin that doesn't use strength is still totally fine by the way. Strong but simply not optimal. In terms of endgame, Turn Undead is going to be useless whether you try to make it really good or not. It's one of those things that the devs haven't managed to scale very well in reaper and such. Similar story with Lay on Hands. Even with 80+ charisma, you won't be healing yourself for much in reaper mode, but you can still heal other party members just fine with 40+, which a strength based paladin should still have.
