That's how Saltmarsh loot works. Loot the Lvl 3 item (yes, even in Legendary levels) then upgrade to Epic -> Legendary versions using ingredients.

However, there is an issue when collecting the quest arc completion reward in the tavern - the Legendary loot list populates then is immediately replaced by the Heroic loot list.

Making it harder and more time consuming to level up sentient gems.

The legendary sands items are supposed to be coming in a future patch (like 50.1 for example), which this isn't. This has always been their stated intention afaik, since they weren't going to have them ready for the update. It's not that they were just somehow forgotten to be included, so they'd be able to be hotfixed, they are simply not done yet.

Yes, the non-raid items didn't require any of the tokens of the twelve at all (and still don't). The raid items mistakenly required normal Tokens of the Twelve, instead of the Greater Tokens, so this is just to fix that.

The release notes for the hotfix say it was released on Thursday instead of Friday.

I'm a bit disappointed that the hotfix had such little content. There are so many known issues not addressed that waiting a bit longer would have been much better.

They probably wanted to get out what they could before the weekend. Dev team doesn't work weekends generally afaik.

I'm missing Crawben Bix, the one who gives the Tower of Frost quest. Neither in heroics nor in epics, he has just vanished. Did you move him without noticing it in the release notes?

Some legendary Saltmarsh transmutations still have wrong names. Also I don't see Vulkoorim Fighting Leathers in the epic list of items.
