options for scalable GUI

I haven't played this since I got my new 4k monitor since the GUI doesn't scale. I also cannot stream the game because of the same reason. This is something that, I believe, should have been addressed when it was first addressed over 4 years ago. Since scaling GUI is not an option and 2k and 4k monitors are becoming more popular DDO is being overlooked because it is really hard to play in higher resolutions. Another option would be to open DDO up to the steam workshop so players could fix this issue or allow for GUI mods.

The devs have said they want to bring it to DDO since LotRO has it but it is a huge undertaking since there is so much artwork that needs looking at which costs a lot of money (as far as I understand it). There are probably other factors too I am sure but I think that's the main one.

Everytime I DL and log in to this game, feeling nastalgic about playing some D&D, this is the issue that immeditalty reminds me how old the game is, and how sad that it can't scale to 4k after all these years. Even Minecraft scales to 4k and doesn't have micro-tiny menus and chat windows so tiny you can't even read it without standing up and putting your face close to the screen.

This unresolved issue is the slow cancer that is killing this game, I'll come back in a year to see if its playable.

UI scaling and displaying properly at all resolutions would be good.

But, as a workaround, can't your 4k monitors display the game at a lower resolution?
