The whole point of the stat squish, updated s/s/s, more augments, etc., was to blow open the gear possibilities in a great fun way. Cool theory but I've been trying that and overall finding the over optimized, nothing-can-possibly-work design philosophy to be pretty dreadful and a waste of time. The irony is this new no-power-creep design philosophy seems custom built to impress Chai but his whole multi-game guild deleted DDO at U50, lol.

To me, this is merely just another sign of the blatant elitism apparent hzere on this board. This discussion currently (as I write this) has 11 pages, but no-one would EVER discuss a SIMILAR topic for low to mid levels. NVER !
Why ? Because people in this forum forcefully deny the need for good items in the lower to mid levels.
No-one cares. This is nothing but selfishness to care only for the own "high level bubble", so to say.
People will of course tell me "you don't need to read and reply on these topics, then", which to me merely just another sign of elementary schoolyard bullying like in "we don't want you here".
People regard low to mid levels as junk, I guess.
Good that the devs don't think so, but that comes only with the price of "opening up" the low level quests (Saltmarsh, Keep, Feywild) to highe levels - and guess what's exclusively being discussed in these forums here ? Not the low level quests or quality of items in these packs, of course, since everyone regards them as junk regardless ...
Plus, Saltmarsh Hay is still dropping far too much compared to Chits in heroic low level quests.
"You are a Tiefling. And a Cleric, with the Domain of the Sun. Doesn't that contradict each other ?" "No, all my friends are playing evil. I found that so boring that I decided to be on the good side. And, besides, Sun and Fire, where is the difference, really ?"
If the dev team had decided to continue to flesh out the systems they have in place with a player level cap of 30; I suspect we would have many interesting (and actually competing) endgame choices.
Because the level cap is once again going up another 10 levels over the next few years, I suspect we'll see tons of GH updates. Not to mention that most of the work that was done up until this point will be rendered obsolete as they slowly sell us back the powercreep they just took away in the squish.

That pretty much applies to everything in the game: With all the abandoned systems that have been implemented, there is no real reason to farm for something that will just be abandoned / modified (dashing the hopes of anyone who has the item). I have learned enough about this team's philosophy since alpha to never expect anything to be completed or it is warped in a manner that makes them not worth the time nor the money. pretty sad really.

It still works, but on a limited selection of Action Boosts only from reports and supposedly doesn't work on certain types of weapons (ranged I believe). Haste Boost is confirmed to still be functional with Draconic Reinvigoration (I use it on two characters before I ran out of ingredients).

Thelanis: Yijing (*Completionist* TR 20 Aasimar Scourge Monk Level 20 / Epic Level 10)
Thelanis: Pocket-Monks: Sightblur, Peashoote, Jigglypath, Jedinja.
Invisible Fences, unkillable Target Practice Dummy's, Shared Bank's, Pale Lavender Ioun Stones, the dimensional barrier between Eberron and Shavarath, I've broken them all...
Draconic reinvigorate works on ranged weapons but it only works on certain boosts works on some racial boosts and then not on some of the same boosts in enhancement trees it should just work on all boosts
Duske Surge is acting similarly
The point is that it was put out broken then never fixed now however many updates later we get the same effect and it’s still broken
basically it’s been abandoned till now and I still haven’t seen any mention of it being looked at even though it’s a top tier ED ability now
It would be really fun I think if it worked and it’s the same problem with releasing systems and then releasing a new system & new system but not polishing or expanding the old system

Wait what's the issue now with perfected items?
They're another gear-piece option. You get more choices, not less.
Who's to care if the gear tetris isn't perfectly optimizable? It's never been!
We still have Slaver's gear crafting, Legendary GS, Alchemical weapons/shields, and a huge variety of different items from different expansions/packs now. We have items from 4 different expansions that're all comparable, when has that ever happened? Be grateful!
I think some of it is ok myself, but it is such a rare drop, by the time people have grinded out months of farming for it, a new expansion comes out, new and better gear, making the nebula obsolete. Im sure if level is going up, then the level 30 gear will eventually be obsolete itself? Or maybe it wont, I guess people would wear their level 29 gear along with 30 gear. upgrading from their level 15 gear. Still really isnt good mid 20 gear. The level 20 epic gear is so so, but from there on until you hit 29 a person is not really geared that well. Once you hit 29 its like night and day.
On a side note , please get some hand axes in the game maybe a level 15 or 17 one, maybe a level 25 ish one.

They would have been a good upgrade, if they didn't magically become Artifacts. Farming it is irrelevant now.
Perfected: (151 to 157) "Yay! I gained 6 Magnetism Spellpower!"
Reality: "Yay! I lost 30 Spellpower, 6% Crit, +3 INT, and +3 spell DCs! Why did I make this again?"

The Monk? Jitz-Nope'ka. Yeah, let's pack everything into the one slot they actually had a good piece for, AND kill the Monk wrap/trinket set at the same time.
The Tanks took it in the Shiny Steel Shorts. Multiple set overlap? Just.. Ouch. That's OK though, they're used to getting licked in the face and smiling. Really.

Yes, yes... I know. Some people might actually enjoy not wearing sets, we respect their life choices.
