Have you taken it around to all the crafting stations and crafting-related NPCs (like the NPC in slavers part 1 or even the dwarf in Relic of a Sovereign Past)?

Edit: Or possibly there's a connection to the Twilight Forge. That would be cool. Or even the Dreamforge.

I've ransacked all wilderness chests on two characters, ran R10 through the chain twice, and ransacked Under the Cover of Darkness on EE. Along with rerolls, it's about 370 chests. Looted 23 Star Fragments and 1 Nebula Fragment with a Greater Treasure Hunter elixir up the entire time.

Seems likely that this super, double-secret item is going to be what allows you to add the mythic bonuses to items after you lose them going through the ridiculous upgrade process.

If that's so, 1) that's nowhere near as cool as the dull dagger "secret" was, and 2) is that even in the game yet? Are we chasing our tails, or is there something we can actually do with a Nebula Fragment at this point?

If we're gonna guess outer space based teasers, I'd guess Expedition to the Barrier Peaks before Spelljammer. And Expedition to the Barrier Peaks would be a silly fun quest pack to have.
