I can't purchase it either. I've tried with Visa and with Paypal. Using the visa I get a message that my account details are not correct, even though Chrome is auto-filling them and I've used them hundreds of times. Using paypal it asks me what subscription I want the pack applied to, even though I'm logged in, and there's no where to enter or choose a subscription.
I'm in Canada, don't know if that matters.
Why not invite your spouse to play?

Found a workaround.
First, I had to do an InPrivate session, *AND* manually add all the cookie permissions for *BOTH* the DDO and Daybreak sites.
Second, you guys either need to remove the "Payment Sources" section of the store, mention that PayPal is an option only if you go through the 'Buy Now" link, or add the option to link your PayPal.

Get through all that and then have your card company decline the transaction, send you an email asking you to verify you're trying to make a Daybreak purchase, then having to do it all again. Lol?

What did work was the following:
- Log in to both DDO Forums and DDO Market / Daybreak Games;
- Delete all cards in the "Payment Sources" tab on DDO Market / Daybreak Games (this is up the very top of the page next to "Account History" and "Logout");
- Try to purchase again;
- Select "PayPal";
- Checkout as a "Guest" using one of the cards I already tried (i.e. I didn't need to make a PayPal account, just give an email address);
- Victory!
I will add that this reminds me I tried to buy DDO points a few months ago and couldn't, so I just didn't buy any. This thread seems to indicate I'm not the only one who has problems when trying to buy DDO products, so I would recommend investigating and fixing the DDO payment system post-haste!
I just re-read and I think I did essentially what QuantumFX describes. I was paranoid about cookies breaking it too, and so deleted all the daybreak ones, and tried again pressing "accept all". Cookies didn't fix anything for me though, I needed to use PayPal as described in my post above.
I am not even getting that far. I click on the button to purchase the expansion pack and it just goest right straight back to the page I just clicked, not even a chance to try to pay for it. I am... discouraged. It took me quite a while to decide to pay a hundred bucks for this, that's a lot for me right now... I might have to rethink it.
Still no response to the ticket I logged 3 days ago, so thank you so much, this worked!
I strongly suspect (as you mentioned) that it's due to the postcode/zip code. I'm in Australia and postcodes are 4 digits. This was a problem for me ages ago too, although I have no idea why any payment information would need to reference an address. Newsflash: it's 2021 and they don't need to send the pack out via mail.

Getting the same error when trying to purchase the latest expansion, had the same problem on the last expansion, I am in South Africa, so it seems when you aren't in the US then problems seem to creep in
When I've tried to purchase it with 2 different Visa cards, one credit and one debit for online purchases (works fine with Amazon etc.) I get the message on both of them that either the year or month date for expiration of the card is not a date recognized basically. I've both let Chrome Autofill and tried to manually input everything but the message remains the same.
What annoys me is I've used these cards in the past for purchases with both DDO and LotRO without a problem so i don't know what is going on.
Could be worse. I was allowed to buy it, but the money has come out of my bank account and I am 2.5 days in the waiting for the purchase to arrive in my game, and 1.5 days for my ticket to be addressed.
This issue still is going on. Inadvertedly I opened a new ticket regarding this very same issue yesterday. I think my new thead can be safely deleted.
EDIT: solved. My bank wasn't trusting daybreakgames. I phoned my bank and problem solved. DDO Points is managed by Xsolla so I still got other issues with that.
EDIT 2: I followed the link to Xsolla help desk, submitted a ticket, and all's good now

Same. Tried 6 time to buy the mini expansion even being against it and I just gave up. If SSG wanted my money they would sell it in steam which is much easier for people outside US. They say steam would get a cut, now they get nothing because their system don't work as it should.
At least 5 guildies outside USA had the same problem.
