They already have tier 5 lockouts, I don't see why they can't do this for capstones, also.

You are not wrong and yet from past practices I can easily see them selling +2 Universal tomes, or making them the selling point of some bundle and after enough have sold only then adding the logic that limits a character to one capstone. For balance reasons of course. *wink wink* Then we would get to have the whole debate about "bait and switch" again where we'd still have +2 universal AP but not for the original purpose most people would purchase them (access to two capstones). Too cynical? Experience is a good teacher.

    Default Cosmetics NPC

They should implement an NPC that allows you to get your unlocked BtA cosmetics on demand. Want the Barovian Noble cosmetics? If you're flagged (bought the expansion), just ask the NPC for 'em. Don't stuff our new characters' inventories with everything. They already have the logic in-game, from hardcore rewards. Once you're flagged for a HC reward cosmetic, you just ask Mortality for it in the Hall of Heroes on another server.

A splendid solution assuming all cosmetics are BtA and one per character. If they are not, just make them so.

honestly, i also find that potion for vip a little insulting.
all it does is in essence to circumvent the ransack mechanic, a feature put by the designers in game. its again one of those "we have this convienient item here to help you with this inconvienience. only x$!". named are, at the end of the day, the number one reason to ransack said chests in the first place.

the more i think about this whole thing the worse it gets.

    Love this idea!

Also need to make a hireling stable. Just like the mounts, but only for the Permanent Hirelings we have received from expansion packs. This would help with inventory space.

Still need a cosmetic stable. Even if it only works with the cosmetics from the expansion packs, and maybe the store bought one. This again would help with inventory, even if it did not work with the Glamor cosmetics.

    This had been Awesome!

Am i one of few that really looking forward to salt? That mount is just perfect for me!

Had hoped for another racial or destiny point in highest tier though.

I too would like a Cosmetic folder/closet, whatever, but you don't have to keep cosmetics on characters. Just open the Expansion thing, delete the cosmetics, then if you want them down the road, just create a new character and pass them over. They are all bound to account. Not a big deal if you ask me.

We have the technology. We can do it better!
Just give me a "teleporter stable".

    There. Fix'd.

No more inventory problems. Not many item slots occupied per character just for transportation purposes.
Key, D12, expansion teleporters, all in one smooth interface tab, up for grabs when I need 'em.

Also, unlike the Necropolis Sigil interface, the Stable doesn't seem to have a physical limit on how many horses can fit in there, which is great if you plan for future expansions to have teleporters.

With the mess of the last expansion, told levels would increase and didnt. Told we would get raids on release and didnt, till a lot later on. Am not buying this one till its in the DDO store. The last expansion left too much of a bad taste for me. Am spending my money on kickstarter at least i get something i can use over and over again and even sell it on.

I cant see me spending anyting on this expansion for my 3 accounts, there isnt anything that is pre-release incentivised, some opf it I've already pad for twice before I even consider my VIP main account having access to much of what is touted as "exra" for the big pack 10% discount on things i already have bought full price or pay sa monthly to have is still considered gouging by me.

If you think about the casino too much, you'll beat yourself up when you ultimately figure out the house is always intending to win.

I would like to formally welcome all the new recruits to the "SSG: Get Less / Pay More" team.

I know we've had our differences, but like many wise others, I had supreme confidence eventually SSG would push you onto our team. Time as they say, is on our side.

except that DDO isn't a casino built on a beautiful island, is it?

Where's the spa? Where's the beach? Where's the covered hammock for the sea breeze and reading a fun novel or reading about DDO? Drinks?

Don't tell me Ataraxia's Haven and that's it... because that one spa doesn't even have monsters or sea breeze as the characters cannot feel them or experience.
And I haven't seen Saltmarsh having a casino.

If those are VR and have sensory feedback like the to your body like that of a PS5 or XBOX X controller, okay, that might be a different story.

I do not see casino tables? There are no bar hostess? Where's the card mini-game? But then its not D&D related any more.

There are no different human teams in DDO.

There is only One team. The players team vs the monsters team; and I know no human being plays on the monsters team.

Fundamentally there seem to be a few quibbles emerging :
    - inventory problems
    - VIP interaction
    - Value of bundles

What can we offer as suggestions? Inventory : sort it out! VIP : needs more perks. Many ideas here and elsewhere on these two points...
I wanted to waste a few words on the bundles - they need to either give value (one buys 'bulk' so that the value exceeds the price) or be themed (to attract a type of player that perceives value). I don't get why they only offer three that are price based; why not offer at one or more price points, say, a cosmetics bundle, a power-toon bundle, an alt-a-holic bundle, or even class based : a weapons bundle, a caster bundle...the relative perceived value of the offer is easier to raise if there are more options. The majority of posters here see little value - even those going deluxe are mostly doing it in spite of a perceived lack of worth! - would you think it would be more probable to find a reason to purchase if, say, the ED was only in the 'starter bundle' and replaced with something else in the others? (eg. mana pots in caster pack, a weapon aura and reapir kits in weapons pack, an augment bag in the alt one, etc.) N.B. : im pulling examples out my donkey here!
Everyone wants the content and possibly the systems that go with it, for the rest of the stuff spread the chances out of us finding value in the proposition - come on SSG, they are digital assets we dont even get to own!

That's a very narrow and unsupportable view of the meaning of casino.

Just because you never ran dice games in a middle school hallway to collect other's lunch money doesn't mean some of us didn't.

ETA: SSG is running much the same racket here. But, keep telling yourself otherwise.
