    All the item augments (and the Ship-Mage's Attire) being blue at 3 and then swapping to yellow at 20 is just weird. Can we get a mix of blue and yellow across all levels, please? And just keep them the same at level-up?

    Can buy the filigrees from the AH and the gear is extremely lackluster.

    Will these be exclusive? Both seem quite useful to have a few copies of if not, but I'd rather know before I plan a build around farmable Displacement.

    With Update 50 we are making some adjustments to curtail power creep within DDO's end game, focusing specifically on the power level of items at the level cap.
    unless you buy saltmarsh and wear a 5 piece set for 3 artifact to all stats, 30 prr/mrr and 30 amp! Call now operators are standing by!

    Flametouched iron is an Eberron-exlusive phenomena. It simply would not exist in Saltmarsh unless the Gatekeepers brought it with them. The Flamesalt weapons should be altered to use another material.

    Could the Wind-Swept Buckler be revised? Swashbuckler builds are the only ones using bucklers, and while I am sure there are some hybrid FvS builds out there, it seems silly to put Radiance/Radiance Lore on it and make the shield unusable by 95% of the other swashbuckling builds out there. Guardbreaking is always a win, as an alternative. And the buckler needs to be part of the set bonus, just as the buckler from Feywild is.

    I'm not sure if it part of a master plan, but there isn't a single item that provides Doublestrike / Ins Doublestrike / Qua Doublestrike in this entire expansion. And the set bonus doesn't provide DS either, which means that melee are going to be forced to continue using their Sharn/Feywild items.

    Can't you add a new scepter or something? Maybe help out the healers and give some insightful/quality devotion/healing? Anything for DC casters?!?

    The "goldcurse" of the gold cursed dagger does not work at all. From its description it should trigger a DC100 paralysis on every hit. Have tried on trash kobold in dojo and a variety of trash mobs from dungeons but it never triggers. Please check if this ability is properly applied.

    Epic Suhagin Priestess Robe - shows in UI with
    +1 and +0 abilities, and misnamed when highlighted
    as Epic Ship-mage's Attire.

    Epic Dockworker's outfit also showing heroic stats
    in UI.

    Epic Snakeskin Belt shows Underwater Action +0.

    Forgot to check if legendary versions had same issues, but assuming so.

    it's been changed to a proc when you get hit

    As in preview 1, it would make more sense to progress blue -> green -> green + yellow instead of blue -> yellow -> yellow + green

    I'd rather have a mixture of blue and yellow from the start. I wear plenty of topazes in heroics. Granted, most of them are ML4, but even so. It makes more sense to have a mix and then keep that mix (or as you say, upgrade to green at 20, and then add the original color back at 30).

    Default Aesthetic suggestions, and some bugs

    Just went through the item appearances of the Saltmarsh loot.

    This will probably be disregarded as so much aesthetic feedback is because there is never enough time. But here goes:

    The orb and rune arm look fantastic. Good job.

    I noticed there is ZERO cosmetic difference between the heroic armors and their epic and legendary counter parts. This would probably be okay if they looked really snazzy, and epic. But they don't, they look sort of drab, and appropriate for heroic level 3. I suggest either:
    1) making the epic/legendary colors more pirate-appealing such as blues and golds, dark blue and brown and white, blues and greens, reds and blacks... and note to whomever is in charge orange and green and orange and yellow together just not an epic/legendary look for any pirate, seafaring hero anywhere. The scrub that cleans the galley sure, the buccaneer that stars the show... nope.
    2) or and this is a lazier option but saturating the colors as you go from heroic->to epic -> to legendary would at least differentiate them.
    3) make an effort to have at least the Legendary versions match some of the dyes from Crystal Cove as players would love to choose a matching helm of their preferred style, probably impossible but if there were any way to make the Legendary armors use the Crystal Cove dyes it would make players ecstatic.

    Some of the shields are still BTC on equip rather than appropriately BTA. Most of the shields except the Tower Shield have identical appearances just resized for the shield type I think. Boring. But the Tower shield does look awesome so kudos. Also the buckler, IIRC, has the character's arm clipping through it when equipped.

    The cloaks have identical appearances, I don't think that's WAI because the lore descriptions are very different.

    Saltmarsh weapon suite:
    The rapier looks like the named rapier the Duelist Epee, that's fine but it makes the named item less cool. The crossbows, maul and hammer look the most awesome. Such a good job! The greataxe and dwarven axe, battleaxe are very pretty... but they don't exactly make me think of anything nautical. I keep wondering why they didn't use a Kraken with swirled tentacles where the intricate Rococo wood carving is located. Likewise, why is a tentacled creature not holding up the ball of the mace/morningstar? The Quarterstaff looks too small like a barbell or small curtain rod. I'm still disappointed there is no Fishing pole quarterstaff. This really would have been the perfect place for it.

    Everything else looks a little hum-drum, the khopesh looked like a giant can-opener... maybe that's an in-joke. The sickle looks like the topper for a caster-staff.
