Made a flying carpet ... flying sheet out of it.
Fits perfectly to some the other items of the Mysterious Remnants vendor which are also made of paper !

Can we have this thread moved into the Hall of Fame, please ?
"You are a Tiefling. And a Cleric, with the Domain of the Sun. Doesn't that contradict each other ?" "No, all my friends are playing evil. I found that so boring that I decided to be on the good side. And, besides, Sun and Fire, where is the difference, really ?"

I tossed the Codex Page. It only unlocked a chest of random loot. It didn't do anything else. It wasn't one of the high power Pages.

I traded mine in and got a Bigby's Hand...
Thinking that my luck could only get better I traded another in and got a sun flask. Just one.

The chain giver is the same, but that's just natural, these are people from the keep and have no interest in multi-planar artifacts.
What about the Gatekeepers? The teleport guy just teleports and don't lose any word about the codex page. No one else as well. So you know what? We get to keep that page! Imagine the infinitive possibilities, as vast as the infinitive planes. I like to use it to balance the one corner of the cupboard, as it has a short foot, though whenever I accidentally move the cupboard, there is a chance that it planeshifts instead.

What do you do with your codex page?
Tried to fix lag with it but failed

This is the best idea I heard all week!

    Default the page

After detecting any magic on it, i looked on the back to make sure i wasn't missing anything. it turns out that the user manual for the Apparutus was inscribed in part there. thank goodness because the walk/ swim thing always confused me. (6)

Great idea! I want a Dave Arneson sentient gem. It could be made with the audio already in the game. "It's no good." and "That's done it!"

I could also appreciate the comic value of a 'Cry for Help' themed gem. "Please, anybody! Get me out of here!"

It was a missed opportunity the gem you loot in borderlands isn't a sentient gem. You know, the one that goes 'you don'tknow what you're doing'

For those of us who grew up in 80s & 90s the UK, it'd have to be Hugo Myatt, aka Treguard from Knightmare
I used to be with it, but then they changed what it was, now what's it is weird and scary to me.

I totally agree. But I don't know if I could have that one equipped for long, the multitude of voices all talking simultaneously was a little creepy for me.

Ah I've never seen that, I'll have to dig on the internet to see some videos when I have the chance. For me my earliest exposure to D&D was the Dungeons & Dragons Animated Series. Sadly the guy that voiced Dungeon Master in that passed away in the early 2000's.

Even so, I thought of Matt Mercer first because A) he's very popular with newer D&D players, B) he's a very talented voice-actor, C) he is a favorite DM across many D&D web shows. I like him as a DM way better than Chris Perkins, and he's from WotC itself.

I gave it to one of the remaining cultists so that they could rise to power again in the near future. Adventurers need job security, too.

I've been trying to theme my sentient gems with the characters. The only one that would possibly use something creepy is my GOO warlock... okay I guess I could see it... but at the same time... I think I would eventually remove it because it would disturb me. I mean disturb my enjoyment of my leisure time. I could be wrong though. I wasn't greatly pleased with the over-processed dragon for a long while but eventually I made out all the sayings and now I'm okay with it. Its on my Dragonborn paladin.
