I logged on a character that I haven't played in forever.

It appears to be a lvl 9 Halfling monk shrunken thrower. I tried playing it and I have no idea what I was thinking trying to level a Halfling monk thrower (the toon is very old).

Anyone have any ideas on what I can do to make getting it to 20 and TRing a bit less painful?

I have access to a lesser heart.

If it's a first life character you can also just make a new character? But if you want to continue to level 20 you can do just fine by Shintao or Hensin. You can respec your enhancements with Plat. Change feats at Fred if you have Dragonshard.
But in Heroics you can even get to 20 with a thrower without too much trouble. Just get some updated gear.

You might have made the character when shuriken tossers were meta.

LR into a handwrap monk or staff multi-class THF and steamroll to 20.

Use the heart and turn it into an acrobat. It's fast and strong.
I myself prefer DEX based to take advantage of the AoE trip in the tree.
Absolute best melee aoe stunner.
