But, but... how would the character wear it though? There are no pants or skirts slot. There is only the armor slot.
i.e. if the character wears the diaper of absorption, then the character cannot wear an armor.

And is the diaper made of cloth? i.e. like robes/outfits? i.e. monk-able?
but for absorption we already got the Epic Elemental Victory though?!

Does it *also* absorb blows also as in Elusive Target though?

One of the mechanics I really enjoy about Feywild is the chance to have a Feytwisted chest! I already enjoy doing wilderness zones, but seeing one for a Rare makes my day even better. Having one drop in a quest or the raid makes the whole experience more enjoyable even if I have all the items already. I'm not sure how difficult it would be to implement this mechanic in other content, but I would love to see it again.

Another possible names include:

• Marshmellowed Chests
• Saltsprinkled Chests
• Salt-&-Pepper Chests
• Marshymagic Chests

Any other opinions are welcome.

not a fan of the original feytwisted chest idea, especially since they're so rare that you have to grind them ALOT to get what you want. if this would occur like 20% of the time it'd be fine. maybe some very rare chest that dropped a token you could trade in for any named item that would normally drop in that chest/pack would be pretty cool

What if it contained buried pirate treasure? They would not have been pilfered and could possibly have some exciting stuff if handled by ornery pirates ARRR!

I would concur with itchy. In the feywild quests I do optional areas where there are chests for the slight chance they are feytwisted. In Sharn and Ravenloft (and any other content) I ignore optional chests that do not drop named loot. The fey twisted mechanic provides a solid reason to go out of ones way and not just take the fastest path to completion. If creating new loot is too much work, I would be happy with standard named loot in the salty chests.

Plus, it gives more reason to NOT zerg through stuff and perhaps split-up to go find these optional chests. Once the content is ran over and over and over again, people tend to take the shortest path to victory. This mechanic could infuse new life into "smelling the roses" along the way with the hope of getting something salty.

Salty Wench Chests - the Salty Wench is an infamous bar maid after which a tavern in 3 barrell cove is named.

My guildy loves that tavern! And yeah, I kind of thought of the wench on the splash screen for the tavern when I read your post. I remember going there back in the day before 3BC was revamped (not that I'm complaining).
