The Lost Thread bugs out at the end

Can something be done to fix the end fight of The Lost Thread? This is a long quest, and the bug happens at the end fight. To have to restart this quest and redo the whole thing hoping to kill the end battle mooks in just the right way is rather frustrating.

I am having the same issue... lots of lost time, real money spend on consumables, etc. Frustrating. And no help when ticket submitted...

Possible bug: killing the first group of slaves in the final fight too quickly (such as with an AoE insta-kill ability) may result in the boss never emerging from behind his magical barrier, and the quest becoming incompletable. Allowing enough time for the second set of slaves to emerge seems to avoid this problem.

Not quite. It doesn't just occur with immediate annihilation, it can occur with regular, slower DPS kills as well. You really need to sit on that first wave.
