Spring is a horrible time for me, real life is in full bloom and dominates my time through summer and early fall. We participated in HCIV, but couldn't invest the time needed to achieve the goals we would have liked to achieve. I invested the time I could to get my guildies in their 1750 reward and hitting 20 reward, but we all had a similar problem; our busiest season is spring and summer.

If we could hold the next season in late fall/early winter we would have the time to invest in the Hardcore season to achieve the goals we are after. I mean, covid really shut things down, but it didn't stop spring from coming or hold back summer and 90% of my work is seasonal (spring, summer, early fall). Winter offers me much more idle time and slows the time demand for most of my guild mates.

We would all prefer a late fall/winter HC league so we can have a shot at all the achievements we are after and I really cannot see how it would interfere with the winter games. I am confident that the Aussies dominated HCIV and may be our only opposition for a Northern hemisphere winter HC league.
