First Ever Reaper Wings on Hardcore

I'm posting this on behalf of Dom [Khyber] who doesn't post to the forums. He's the first player to ever achieve reaper wings on the Hardcore server. Other players weren't even close:



Shoutouts to Matty, Cheesy, Thoons, Grun and Cookie. And a special thank you to Rose, whose DI saved Dom from death during reaper point 69.

This is a truly noteworthy achievement. I hope the devs consider giving Dom his own statue within the Hall of Heroes to commemorate the achievement. Or at the very least, replace the reaper wings vendor with Dom's hardcore character: Jebezook Nackle.

Is there a story behind why he picked the same name as the gnomish antagonist in The Magma Must Flow?

It's an in-joke from when we ran back-to-back reapers for half a year straight on Khyber, earning 25million RXP. Just one of those weird things that evolves when you do something so mind numbing that you come up with silly things to keep your sanity. Our RXP grind on live is also where the idea of this achievement originated. I challenged him if we could get max reaper points on live in half a year, then he should be able to grind out reaper wings on hardcore. Matty was also part of our live RXP grind team, and was on hardcore, but minute-long lag killed him in Oath of Vengeance. Otherwise this thread would be celebrating two people with wings on hardcore.

Some other details I forgot to include: Paladin was the build of choice due to the champion with the insane disease dot. Dom also earned the following past lives:

Aasimar x3
Half-Orc x3
Wood Elf x3
Half Elf x3
Dwarf x3
Human x2

...and 15 epic past lives.

He jokingly said he's going to get 100 reaper points next hardcore season. At least I think it's a joke. >.<

Because it was asked elsewhere:

Dom got wings on hardcore running 80% of quests on R4, and the easy ones on R5 once he farmed out gear. Always used a 50% XP pot.
