Summer Sales requests

It is getting near the time for Summer Sales if SSG offer them this year (July). I am putting in my request for Tiefling and Shifter race (not the icons); shared bank storage upgrades are always nice too.

I'm still hoping they sell the COVID "everything" pack as a bundle for those that missed the coupon last year. Doesn't even have to include Perils.

Also would not mind that wood-elf or whatever that double elf is to be put on summer-sale-discount as it seems I never picked it up.

I'd like a sale on Character name certificates, I have a gnome wizard that began her DDO adventures (many years ago) as a warforged and while Metaluscious is cute for a female warforged name it just no longer fits my vision of this character.

I don't like the direction they have taken with Sales over the last few years. Too repetitive and too often underwhelming. I find little reason to get excited about them, or even open up the DDO Store/Market anymore.

So a deviation from that would be most welcome.

I’m missing Warlock for completionist and it wasn’t on sale last year so I hope it is this year. Was previously 75% or 50% 2 years ago.

I'd rather see a good discount on Sharn which includes Tiefling. And I mean not just 25% but at least 50% or even 75% discount.
Feywild will probably get a 25% discount. So I doubt they'll discount Shifter race only. But we Will see.

One could argue the point of these sales is to save ddo points.

By having nothing worth spending ddo points on during these sales shouldn't be a way to save points.

I desperately need Sharn on my free to play accounts. I must have missed the combined Ravenloft/Sharn package they had on sale last year. It's taking just waaaaaay too long to farm the 2500 ddo points to buy it. The gear from there is essential!

Any news on Summer Sails this year? Since they almost quietly skipped it last year because 'they had no plans for it'. Until we begged for one...
With the new Expansion coming today and a lot of players logging in it would be a nice time for them to sell more stuff the coming month.

I have good news for several of you! Warlock (and several other classes/races) was given to everyone for free during the "16th anniversary". You should be able to roll one up whenever you're ready to!

For others in this thread, included on the list of giveaways also includes: tiefling and wood elf. If you're not able to select these on character generation, there may be a bug that needs attention.

I guess I should include my wish list since that's the point of this thread.
Store: I guess I'd buy shifter/iconic, the new pack with hunt or be hunted, and bank upgrades. Monster manuals maybe. I might still need a few iconics, I'd buy at 50% off. Considering I make about 2 lives per year, I'll never get caught up on all the classes/races in my backlog but still worth grabbing I guess.

Market: If they ever happened to offer triple bonus points on DP bundles I'd probably spend a bunch of real $$$ there as well. A modest deal on a 3-12 month VIP sub may also get me to bite, but this isn't something typically offered by them.

Last year they offered a sharply discounted +8 supreme tome. I'm not sure if this was offered during winter sales or summer sales. If offered, I heartily recommend it for anyone on the fence. It's a significant power increase, and at 75% off (I think?) was an amazing deal to snag. My plan was to cycle through running 5k favor per life and snag +5 tomes with each life, but that would have been a ton of work for less power .

As someone new and therefore without as much stockpiled as many long-time players have.

Since "endgame" in DDO seems to be redoing lives over and over my first choice might be a good sale on iconics to give more flexibility.

I would definitely complete my collection of expansions - the higher priced versions, even, given a good sale. Right now it is just too expensive to get them all.

Give-away discounts on Shared Bank to solve the storage problem until the promised improvements come thru "later this year". (Absurdly cheap so no one feels "cheated" by buying them now if they end up not as useful later.)

Or perhaps even a cheap 180-day "rental" on them?

I would settle for Character slots on deep discount to help with inventory space problem I like never see them in the weekly sales anymore too.
