High Lords will host Dryad and the Demigod teaching raid on Saturday, June 19

Our last teaching raid event, Fire on Thunder Peak and Temple of the Deathwyrm had outstanding turnout with 7 attendees who were new to or still learning the raids. If you missed it, you can watch the replay on my Twitch channel vooduspyce. This week we hope to see another nice turnout for our final teaching raid event of the 2021 season!

Next in our teaching raid series will be the new Feywild raid Dryad and the Demigod in Wynwood Hall on Saturday, June 19 at noon ET!

All events in this series are for players new(er) to raiding or players who are looking to learn raids better. First timers welcome! Please have sound and be willing and able to follow instructions.

The goal is to welcome newer players into the raiding scene, to teach people how raids work, to get players more comfortable with raids and to enhance the Sarlona community. Dryad is an end game raid, so we recommend attendees be at least level 29 for this event but we will accept any epic level characters.

If you are new to Dryad, there is no flagging required, but you will need to have access to the Fables of the Feywild expansion.

Space is limited so reserve your spot ahead of time! If you would like to reserve a space in this Saturday's event, please send a tell or in-game mail to Voodu.

This event will be live streamed on my Twitch channel vooduspyce so even if you're not on Sarlona, you can watch, learn and ask questions live. We will also be simulcasting the event on up to 3 additional Twitch channels, so that viewers can see moments when the party splits or from tank point of view, etc. This week's event will be simulcast by my guildie Gijo on his Twitch channel highlordpudding, Littlemama on her new Twitch channel mysticdragon_littlemama and my guildie Cmecu’s channel cmecu_grogerian. We had 5 attendees who were new to or still learning Dryad and the Demigod. It was a nice smooth run and a great finish to our 2021 teaching raid series. You can watch the replay of the live stream on my Twitch channel vooduspyce.

We met a lot of new people this year and made new friends along the way. Hopefully we'll bring back teaching raids again this coming winter. Thank you e1 for supporting the events and big thanks to my guildies for helping out!

In the meantime, we host other public raid events on Sarlona. While not as formal as our teaching raids, our public raids are new player friendly and we're happy to explain how things work to first timers. You can check out our full schedule of public raids in the Sarlona forum at Raid Nights with the High Lords of Malkier. Note that for the summer of 2021 we are only hosting 1 night of public raids each week. Additional raids may be added back to the schedule in the fall.
