Default REALLY BAD BUG with cone shape warlocks

I haven't tested this on softcore, but on hardcore this is a very deadly bug.

When blasting with cone shape on a warlock, you freeze. as in become completely unable to move, do anything ,even exit the game. Your client just freezes, however, the game and anything around you does not.

At first I thought it was my computer (as my party members could move around no problem and continue fighting when this happens but I am frozen and unable to act or move or do anything). However, one of my friends with a better computer than I have just had this happen to him (trying out a cone blasting warlock for the first time on hardcore). Luckily I was able to kill everything around him while he was stuck.

so uhm, yeah. something is VERY wrong with cone warlocks atm. It doesn't happen all the time (it almost seems tied to specific quests. It consistently happened to me in Magma Must Flow, and in the Lords of Dust, it happened to him in part 1 of the waterworks).

    HALP!

Default Isn't this how Cone and Chain really are?

Is this similar to the freeze that happens (in softcore) in Cone and Chain where there is a freeze when you start your 1st attack, and then the freeze stops when you are on your 3rd attack?
In this case, you can't do anything because your player is locked on using eldritch blast, but I've never tried logging off from the game while still inside the animation.

Or is this something totally different?

oh no, this is completely different. This isn't the normal delay between the 3rd and 1st blast of the animation, nor is it being locked into a slow animation cycle, this is a several minute long complete lockup.

I did a test dualboxing so I can see what my warlock was doing on my second accounts screen. On my main screen, I so the first blast, my character and blast animations slow down for the next few, then I stop and am unable to do anything. I cannot move. I cannot cast. I cannot open my inventory or character sheet. I cannot open the menu to escape/quit the game. I cannot jump or strafe or tumble or walk or run. Nothing. And this lasts 1 - 3 MINUTES before I can do anything again, and if I blast again, I freeze again for another 1-3 minutes.

On my other accounts screen, I see my character blast once then stops doing anything/everything, just standing there unmoving. Enemies are still active, party members (and my dualboing alt) are still able to move and act. It's something with cone shape screwing up. This only started happening about 2 days ago. I was using cone just fine up until then. Now I refuse to use it on hardcore because that will kill me.

My friend who just started a cone warlock just experienced this as well, so it's unlikely something local.

I did 5k favor on one so not entirely sure what's going on unless this is very recent only ?

I could test my side in a few days.

It only started for me 3-ish days ago.

It doesn't happen all the time, but when it does (in specific quests?) it happens consistently.

When it happens, game is literally unplayable.

I am not the only one this is happening to.
