While I'd love to see a playable Kobold race and iconic Kobold shamans, what I'd really love to see is racial cosmetic skins. Where you could skin yourself to look like anything while still using your current race's stats/trees. This would allow adding tons of extra races in that wouldn't increase racial past life grind and could allow for the sale of racial skins. Kobold, Tabaxi, so many races that could be added (along with skins for all the current races) and would probably sell like hotcakes in the store (as long as a cosmetic skin wallet was added with them). Can the current game engine support this without insane levels of overhaul? No clue, but I'd love to have it.

^this. I'd like to play a kobold bard or shaman, but I have fond memories of Deekin, and kobold shamans aesthetically remind me of Dark Crystal. But if I could just select a racial skin? Whoop-whoop I'd be floating around as a celestial from the archon quests... please excuse my divinity while I clean-up Waterworks. Ha!

I'd much rather play as a Flumph than as a Kobold, however.

What happened to shard of xoriat anyway, used to be able to turn myself (in public areas) into a taken or reaver or mind flayer and walk around.
