WRACKED BY PAIN counter

Ok so I was running D&D and got Murderfaced by:

Combat): Guardian's wracked by pain hit you for 4,144 points of damage.

1) Will MRR mitigate that?

2) What DMG Catagory does it fall under?

3) is there an Absorption option to Mitigate it?

Any useful tips would be appreciated

I'm not entirely sure what that is but did you happen to have its aggro and try to run away from it?
