    Default Crowd Control?

I have a third life Rogue/Arti/Ranger inquisitive who does really well in low level Reaper if I am in groups, but when I try to solo, mobs plus a boss or a Reaper gives me real problems. He is tenth level now. Does anyone have suggestions on how I can do better or is it just the reality because we lack AOE?

Did you go 4 arti for Endless Fusilade? If not, you'll see the group melting burst at level 12 and No Holds Barred in Inquisitive (even without any kind of AoE like Improved Precise Shot). In the meantime, you can always put some points into Feydark for greater color spray to help lock down the trash.

Thanks! I have never used Endless Fusilade. I am following a build that is 12 Rogue/6 Ranger/ 2 Arti and doing it for Rogue PL. But maybe I should change and get get it. Will read about EF.

It's the same exact ability (shares a cooldown) as No Holds Barred in Inquisitive. The only difference is that you can pickup Endless Fusilade with 4 arti levels vs level 12 in inquisitive. Which allows one to get that ability at a much lower level (and then re-spec at 12 to grab it from the inquisitive tree). It won't do you any good this life since you're almost 12 already and splashing 2 more arti at this point wouldn't help, but it's an option to consider for future lives.

One thing you can do is lay down some glitterdust traps before engaging, then fire away about a few feet back and after lay another trap and fire away.

This will cause an AOE blindness and allow you to volley out several shots, getting sneak attack. Make sure to periodically lay another trap to keep the glitterdust AOE going, maybe three total traps to dispatch group. Summon a pet to draw some aggro also before fighting, maybe an archon or Summon pet IV Djinn, etc. they have slight evasion type defense. LGS Ooze can help, even heroic ones(won't turn to Reapers when destroyed).

Great idea! I can make traps but never think about it because in groups it takes too much time given how fast they run but I should do this when solo.

The higher the reaper, the more Glitterdust can help with flash mobs attacking group. You can jump back and start placing one in mid air.
