    Default Painless Cleric Past Life - Air Domain/Feydark

    This is my recipe for a painless solo-friendly Cleric past life build. It uses Morninglord to get Chain Lightning right from the start. It is intended to Iconic TR at level 30.

    The main damage is from the combination of Air Domain electric spells (using Light spell power) and Feydark Illusionist shadow-blade spells. This combination is extremely effective. Especially as all damage spells used are SLAs so can be boosted with Maximise, Empower, Intensify, Quicken and Heighten at no extra mana cost. Greater Colour Spray further increases the damage.

    You will need Illusion and Evocation focus items. I have not taken any feats in Illusion focus, because with Reflective Bloodstone and 3 Deep Gnome past lives I don't really need them to get the Illusion spells to stick. This build is not intended for end game, only for an easy and fun way to get Cleric past lives.

    The repeating crossbow is just for finishing off mobs with a few HP left. It could easily be replaced by another weapon, and go for pure cleric. I just like to have a missile weapon so I don't have to waste mana finishing off mobs that are nearly dead. Don't be tempted to take a second level of Artificer for rune arms - due to a bug, rune arms mess up Shadowblade damage.
