Default gameplay setting: no arrows or bolts

It would be great to have a gameplay setting to NOT drop arrows and bolts in chests. They fill up the inventory. TIA
Why not invite your spouse to play?

An alternative, is a button that says "Quick Loot". Rather than looting everything, it grabs the platinum, renown, ingredients, collectibles, and maybe jewels. The theme is it grabs things that don't really take up inventory space (most people should have massive bags for various things if they play a lot).

Even if you think it loots too little, it still saves time if you just wanna grab the expensive armor in addition to the stuff on the Quick Loot list.

Since everyone is always grabbing all the things on the Quick Loot List, there really isn't a reason to not include a toggle-able automatic feature where it does it when you open the chest.

In any case, a "Quick Loot" option would be somewhat straightforward and solve the issues OP listed.

I gave up using the "loot all" button a long time ago...

At a certain point, when even plat becomes more or less trivial for you, most chests have nothing that's worth picking up at all. You can just manually double click the ones that occasionally do. End chests mostly, for named items and renown and pack-specific currencies/crafting supplies, filigrees, etc. Most mid-quest chests, though, you just hit "esc" and move on.

The only reason I still open "standard" chests at all is because of the foolish hope they might have a tome or something

Guild renown is still a good reason to open standard chests. If the guild renown sat on top of the chest, I admit I wouldn't open standard chests either.

Use multiple quivers. They slow down the selling a bit, but arrows/bolts will go straight to those and not eat up so much space.

Maybe if you're not playing a Ranged Class or have a Ranged Class as a Majority when Multiclassing (like say 19 barb 1 rng) they just don't show up in Loot Tables? Probably too complicated lol.

I'd also like for Trap Parts to not waste my time... or at the very least not drop completely useless parts (Holy Trap Parts? u wot m8)
NONVIOLENCE IS MY NAME. LORE IS MY GAME!
