    Post Epic Reincarnation - Ticket #5344056

    Hi,
    as mentioned in the ticket, a day before update 49 I was in the midst of performing an ER, went on successfully, but got stuck on a loading screen while accessing the bridge between worlds, which forced me to shut down the client manually.
    That gave me the error "This character is already in the world". I sent in a ticket from another character, since that was unaccessible, and left it logged on for 8+ hours, hoping for some contact.
    Next day u49 hit, and afterwards I was able to regain access to the character in question, but Epic Destinies were found messed up (loss of all progress, no tooltip for activation, no marker/indicator of level).
    Updated the original ticket with information regarding progression of events.
    It's been a few days now, and I haven't received any in-game help (tell and/or answer to ticket, while still being open) other than the potentially indirect fix of the stuck condition via U49 patch (I'm guessing, at this point, since I haven't had any answer back).

    Original ticket poster name is Mjordr, while character in question is Hrodvitne Odinsson, on Thelanis.
    Would appreciate help. Thanks.

    Bump.

    It's been one week.
    Yesterday, five days after sending the first ticket, I got the "Thank you for contacting support. You were offline while bla bla bla".
    Countless other hours of being online/idle in-game, still no contact.

    Seriously, I had heard of Support Service's fame, but I thought it was only some kind of hyperbolic fun over at the forums; at this point I could say that I was lucky enough to not require it over the years... but this is beyond ridiculous: it defies logic that you are still in business with customers having to put up with this kind of stuff.

    I understand the volume of requests is very high, and personnel scarce, but this is totally embarassing if you consider yourselves professionals.

    I had this happen last week too. The GM fixed my ability to login, then i had to wait a couple more days for them to fix my EDs by chucked xp into each Destiny. I believe I am still missing 4 or 5 fate points, but as far as they could tell me there isn't a way to give them back, at least that the GM could do.

    Then when I went to play I noticed that the quest givers were giving me infinite level 1-2 rewards, on epic quests. Because you can never accept all the loot the quest giver wants to give you, he or she can never give you the quest again, so the only quests you can repeat are ones that do not have a quest giver but are assigned by the door, like Cogs.

    I put in a ticket but eventually said to heck with it and did a True Reincarnation, which I did not want to do, which did fix the loot problem at least.

    It doesn't make any sense to me either, and it's been this way for years, totally unrelated to any CS shuffling they say has been going on lately.

    Even across all servers I can't imagine there are THAT many tickets every day. I mean...one person can probably handle all CS on all servers from 8-5 lol. Maybe with a higher level GM that has more power for the complicated ****.

    This requiring you to be online for tens of hours is ridiculous. A year or 2 ago, my friend had put in a ticket (forget for what), and he stayed on all day because the server was going down for maintenance the next day (not just a normal restart). He logged on right after the servers came up and CS had SERIOUSLY closed his ticket because they had tried to contact him WHILE THE SERVERS WERE DOWN and he wasn't online.

    I lost all my epic destinies, but thats the small part of it. Also lost all progression done before the ETR, ie, no slayers, no quest progresin, no tomes, no favor. I cant even enter quests unless reddoor and only if quest giver is different then quest entrance and only in party.
    hooray. 4 weeks. SSG just keeps closing my tickets. at least my epic destinies are restored but the rest is still bugged.

    I hope you get your stuff sorted out
