    Default UA49: What next?

Before the bow pass, I ran a PDK-monkcher to collect a PL and experience the build before it gets down. Now I'm at 28th level and with the new bow-system, I'm rather uncertain what to run next, so my thought was: Hey, why not ask the forums.

This is for my bow-toon and the character will at its 4th life. The actual build I'm doing with it is a elven wizard AA (2 rogues for evasion and trapping, though 2 monks would also kinda work), combining enchantment-DC bonuses from AA and elf to Mass Hold enemies and picking them up with some subpar DPS.
To make everything work better, I'm now collecting past lives, namely PDK for the boost, DG for the stance (as my illusion is also nice due to gearing and additional acid spellpower for elemental arrows) for iconics, and ranger and monk for straight up damage. All these PLs are supposed to be archers, because this is my archer toon.

Now with U49 out, the question is, what to play next life.
    • PDK monkcher, because I now have 1 and should collect the rest
    • DG ranger, because you think I should experience what bows are now supposed to do
    • Actual Elven Wiz-AA build to see, how it changed after bow-pass and to get some more spell pen

If you have nice twists or build ideas for the iconics, be sure to share them. I have a +8 INT tome, +6 WIS, and +5 DEX for possible main-stats.

Let's see what you're telling me to do, and I keep you updated (though it may take a while, because of how often/long I play).

I'd play a caster until things have settled down. Otherwise you're likely to be stuck playing a build with lost of bugs and features that don't work-as-expected while still working-as-intended. Better to let others much thru the mess and save yourself the stress.

But where is the fun in it? Also, why play a caster on an archer-toon? o.O

Seriously, digging through bugs and learning a think or two on the way is part of the journey.
