If there are a handful of people who wanted their subs cancelled for the loss of less than a day of service to fix a technical issue then they can contact customer service and have the charge reversed and sub cancelled easily.

guys, i have been in a similar situation before.
Marvel heroes omega was a very fun game with a lot of problems and a small player base.
Even with all the problems we did spend bucks on it just because it was fun, unique and we kept our faith on the developers
eventually a few more critical problems started to appear, mainly with some licenses not being renovated by disney.
The player base started pressuring the devs in the forums in a very toxic way and figured out it was a good idea to hit where it hurts more: They stopped spending until the licenses were renovated. The company went bankrupt and the game went down.
It was very sad as there is nothing like it out there.

Ddo is in a similar stage right now. It is a game that we keep out of love of it's unique style. And with such a small fan base it is hard to think that the devs are into it out of money only. We need to work together to make this thing work out, even if we are the ones paying for it.

Yes, there is a lot of problems with the game, but hey we love it. Let those guys try to fix the main issues, let's help as much as we can, giving constructive feedback or being comprehensive with the problems. It may not look like it but we are on this together.

There is nothing like ddo out there, i know that, so let's not let it die out of internet toxicity.

Seems alright so far. Still having occasional chat server unavailable issues (and where friends list stuff doesn't work) on HC but that's likely entirely different problems that wouldn't have been fixed by u49's work.

There is always City of hero's. The homecomming server is pretty good. I actually rolled a stalker last night and was running around waiting for DDO to resurface.

Heh, how about HC people all get 1 free life in compensation. I have a lvl 14 scourge that I would love to bring back to life.
Died in Castle ravenloft floating down the tower. Saw a champion arcane skeleton on the stairs, we locked eyes across the room, it was magical, simply death at first sight. I am sure my scourge does not like his bones being ravaged by that Champ and wants a rematch (or more likely a chance to hide)

seem to be getting DDO not responding on each attempt to log in, get to character screen and no character shows up and then is disconnects.

Also pre cache takes a real long time now to load, like over a minute.

I've seen no ill effects so far since the servers came back up. I'm not sure I see a big benefit yet but everything I've run has been relatively lag free aside from normal activation lag in Wheloon.

I've noticed no effect on overall power on a THF EK/PM who switches out to a Hvy Repeater to resolve long-range issues.
