Roll back to the version before today's update then fix the issues. First thing you do before an update is backup so you can roll back if there are huge issues.

If they do a rollback, the HC server would be the only one since platinum actually matters there.

Platinum is fairly irrelevant on the regular servers, and there wasn't a large window of time to cause major economic issues on those. People have been raiding today on the regular servers, and had some very nice chest pulls of named loot and tomes. It would be a shame if those players lost those items that they legitimately earned today.

In the future, I will not be raiding or TR'ing right after a new update or patch is released, due to the risks of bugs and rollbacks.

I was two boxing on HC. Had just gotten my lv 2 rogue to the door before the mind sunder crystal in Misery's Peak and when I clicked on the door I got the Desktop instead. I also had a toon on wife's account parked in the House D Weapons Shop like Light Horse Brigade use to do on Sarlona to keep it from wiping inventory and it got a 9 second warning after my toon was booted. At least they were in safe spots and hopefully not wiped.

Hope for some word soon on an ETA.

You could sell arrows for 1000x their normal sales price - each arrow was valued as if it was a proper weapon, such as a single +2 Holy sliver arrow = value of a +2 Holy silver Greatsword. So a stack of 100 arrows was worth a lot. That included selling arrows made with Cannith crafting.

After 20 TRs, I already have more plat than I can ever spend on Orien, so did not see the need.

$$G loves the HC server. Unlimited platinum would compromise the integrity of the sever. This is the goose that is laying golden eggs for them right now. They do anything to insulate it.

Dear SSG,

please address weapon swaps. I mentioned it a few times now, and haven't heard anything, but playing on live, it is quite unbearable to have to sit while twiddling my thumbs for 1.5-2 seconds while I am getting pummeled by a baddie just waiting to start swinging again. And on top of this, when I started swinging, i don't see floaty numbers for at least another second. This was reported on the Lam preview thread. This is not fluid or fun at all. Any build that actively swaps items during battles will see this when they get to play (looks like tomorrow). I hope this is part of the fix. Its really that bad.

ok so another screw up on a update. when we pulled a raid item
we lost it due to shut down since in raid u dont see a warning all players need to be give a choice of 1 raid item from any raid since you devs should have did a back up to switch back to if a issue did pop up

I play, like most people, certain times every day, the game is down all night. This is the time that i play, therefor i am paying for a service that i cannot use. Any customer service oriented business would compensate paying customers for lost access to a product they paid for if it was down for an entire evening.

Obviously it was far more important to nerf the bows & murder the monkcher build because either "exploit" might have made archers look a little less like wet noodles by comparison to warlocks or even artificers...
