Can unused purchased store points be refunded?

Not a doom and gloom thread, I'm not rage quitting, this has nothing to do with todays update. For various reasons I simply don't have much interest in playing anymore. I had purchased a lot of store points hoping to have something worth spending them on and haven't done so. Curious if it is possible to get a refund on those points or are they just fated to sit there?

I've never heard of points being refunded. They're likely going to just sit comfortably, waiting for you to return.
