Default Just got a 4K monitor, any hope to make the DDO UI useable??

I just got a 4K monitor which I needed to make work life a lot easier doing mapping. Also using it for art projects needing better accuracy. Just spun up DDO and found the UI seems tiny now and I'm not finding a way to fix it. All the objects are way too small now, all the text, hotbars, chat windows, health bars, etc. Was expecting some adjustments to UI needed but not expecting DDO to lack the options (apparently). Am I missing something? If I lower the resolution (which I would be fine with), it makes the game windowed and tiny.

I had tried that and was fooled by initial behavior of it reducing to a smaller window with no window frame. Looked like it was not going to work. But thanks to your tip, I tried again and after switching resolution to lower one, and after clicking the little window it becomes, the game adjusted and fixed itself. It's working now. Oddly, if I use 1920x1080 the screen fails to capture the full game extent and my buffs and xp bar are partially off screen. I updated to the next resolution up and now it looks normal pretty much, maybe a tad better with slightly smaller icons. Thanks!

UI scaling is not a thing currently in DDO yet LoTRO has it annoyingly. Hopefully they get round to it sooner rather than later.

I have a large display as well and solved the UI scaling as you did.

But I have this issue: when I alt-tab out of the game to the desktop, the game immediately crashes.
So I can't use puzzle solvers or obsessively check social media while I'm playing.

    You having that too?

Default This worked for me on a Windows 10 machine.

This will scale up the UI so the lower res windowed mode is not so tiny.

Go to where DDO is installed ..\StandingStoneGames\Dungeons & Dragons Online

    32bit - Find dndclient.exe
64bit - go into the x64 folder and find dndclient64.exe

    Right click for "Properties"
    Click"Compability" tab
Click "Change High DPI Settings" button

    On the pop-up:
    1) Ensure box is ticked for "Program DPI" / "use this setting to fix scaling problems with thgis program instead of the one in settings"
    2) Ensure box is ticked for "High DPI scaling override"
Under "Overide high DPI scaling behaviour scaling performed by:"
    set this dropdown to "System"

    =====

You can do this with the launcher as well.
