    Default Tempest Capstone/Scourge PLs/Perfect TWF

These need to be updated with the changes. Devs, what do you have in mind?

How about removing the offhand doublestrike, and just making offhand doublestrike half of main hand. Then when a buncha people splash tempest and boost main hand doublestrike to 150% and have 75% offhand, nerf off hand doublestrike a few months from now to cap at 50%.

I'd say, if the tech allows, making them +5% mainhand-to-offhand doublestrike

So its 50% base, but then with Tempest maybe that becomes 60%, and PTWF up to 65%, and maybe Scourge gives +2% per stack. It'd be a huge buff over Live TWF right now, of course...but TWF really needs a buff to differentiate itself from THF in a single-target role.

If the tech doesnt allow, then just switch it from Offhand Dstrike to just regular Dstrike, since Dstrike >100% can still wrap around to Offhand up to 200% for TWF, which kinda accomplishes the same thing (and its not really useful for non-TWF builds that can already hit 100% Dstrike)

This issue is either being ignored or there is no current plan. So I'll take a crack at it.

My thoughts on tempests and rangers in general. Do nothing to compensate the capstone loss in the capstone. Instead give them 10 double strike in the tree somewhere in the tier 3 and 4 abilities and add +1 critical range to one handed melee weapon in the tier 5 whirling blades enhancement. What that would essentially do is divorce tempests from feeling forced to run at least 21 enhancement points in deepwood stalker. This would give them the opportunity to more freely use any of the universal trees should they wish to do so.

While you're at it add +1 crit multi with any melee weapon you have dexterity to damage with to strikes like lightning in the t5 dws tree so they don't feel forced into tempest.

This would put both trees on a more similar power curve to other more recent enhancement trees. At level 20 you probably end up with a similar power level but more interesting options since you can choose between the 10% ds in vistani plus nice defensive enhancements or you can comfortably do a wisdom, int, or even charisma build without feeling like you've gimped yourself due to missing out on the crit range from dws.

Perfect two weapon fighting probably needs a bit of a rework at this point. Boosting the double strike or adding a combat style bonus to melee power would be appropriate.

That actually sounds very well thought out. +1

These are good ideas. I think the most elegant solution for PTWF would be to just convert it to +10% offhand strike chance, but then that's another proxy nerf to tempest... Maybe add an additional 10% doublestrike to the capstone as further compensation?

Devs, need some comments on how you are approaching compensating loss of offhand doublestrike in Scourge PL, Tempest capstone and Perfect TWF.

    Any ideas at all?

    Added mainhand doublestrike?
    More melee power?
    Increased critical hit/dmg profile?

    Anything for us devout tempests?

    EDIT: Nevermind...Devs just posted. Thanks
