Respec

I did a respec +1 today to make sure i kept my 1 rogue level but somehow i now have level 2 rogue and level 12 druid which is not what i wanted. I had level 1 rogue and level 13 druid and now i cannot respec again for 2 days. I have since bought another lesser +1 so i need someone to either reset me or remove the 2 days before i can respec. I would also like to know why on level 1 i was druid then on level 2 i choose rogue how i ended up with 2 level of rogue when each time after i choose druid. Again i only want 1 level of rogue and 13 in druid. Please help

You had a Rog 1 / 13 druid and that's what you want... what?

Slow down and start from the beginning.

1) What race? (Any chance it was Iconic?)
2) What classes did you have, in order, before the respec?

I'm going to assume that you wanted to take Rogue 1 and then Druid for the rest?

Have you read about the process on the Wiki - anything there strike a bell?

This doesn't make any sense either - a standard LR doesn't change anything, so why use a +1 to "make sure you kept" anything? +1 is to change 1 level. Could you rephrase this statement, make it clear what you are trying to achieve w/ a +1 HoW?

so I used a +1 because how i read it if i wanted to take rogue at level 2 instead of when i originally did at 7 i could. So i used the +1 and checked 1st level was druid so on next screen i said rogue, then next i said druid and until i hit 14 said druid. Somehow i gained a level of rogue i did not want and have no clue how it happened. If you could just reset my time use so i can switch it back to what it orignally was at druid 13 and rogue 1 thats all im trying to do.

A +1 Heart of Wood lets you change 1 class level.

If you were Druid Levels 1-6, Rogue L7, and Druid 8-13, when you used the stone to change Level 2 to Rogue, that is your one level change. When you got to L7 you cannot change it. You will still be a rogue at that level.

You need a +2 heart of wood (which I don't think they make. The next one is +3 heart of wood).

So i think i know what happened at some point it changed from staying on the druid path to rogue. Anyways now i get an error saying an unkown error has occured. Please select your class manually which i do and it goes back to that error.

So I used the regular not the +1 not sure if thats why but im stuck at level 8 with it erroring now. It is trying to force me to take another level of rogue. What do i do now?

I had no choice than to take the level at 8 in rogue for the error to go away. So according to you i now know that I can only take it again at 7 even with a +1 correct? I need the timer reset yet again so i can use my +1. When i use it what is the earliest i can take rogue? Also again thanks for the help but reset my 2 day timer please.

Yes and no - I believe the clue to your problem is the word "instead".

As mentioned above, a +1 Heart lets you change ONE (1) Level, from one class to another. It does NOT let you "swap" when you take Rogue - that would be TWO (2) Levels - changing Rogue to Druid for one level, and Druid to Rogue for another, for a total of 2.

That would require a +2 Heart (which they don't make, so a +3 HoW).

If you had taken Druid at Level 1, then Rogue at Level 2, and then 6 levels of Druid, a +1 Heart could change that to a Druid 8 (by changing Level 2 to Druid), OR give you a Rogue 2/Druid 6 (by changing one of the Druid Levels to Rogue), but it could not give you "Rogue @ 1, then 7 Druid" - because that would be changing both Level 1 AND Level 2, and so need a +2 or higher HoW.

(If you don't understand, I can spell it out more simply, let me know.)

If you use a +1 now, then you can swap the rogue 8 to druid (that would use up the 1 class swap the +1 allows).

Nope. Everyone responding on these threads is just other players (like you) and trying to help you out with your questions. It's possible a dev could see the thread (it's the weekend so maybe not) and do a reset; you could also file a ticket in game asking for it; but realistically the 3day timer is likely to wear off long before anyone resets your timer. At the same time, you might be well off with the 2 rogue levels, just wear light armor and enjoy using the evasion feat in the meantime before you finish your respec.
