Post U48 Epid Destiny: LD vs Shirardi (ranged attack)

ok, I don't get it. I see peeps always saying to use LD over Shirardi when using ranged (inquisitive or other xbow uses).

When I turn on LD my ranged power drops over 30pts!

I do not see how even Master Blitz can over come that, not to mention you have to keep MB running all the time where Shirardi I am not worrying about the timer.

Anyone explain why LD is better?

I think you are mistaken. It must be Fury vs Shiradi, not LD.

When I kick over to Fury, it is even worse than LoD in ranged power; and it also drops the DS. I still do not see a stronger ED than shirardi.

Depends what you're doing I guess. If it's just auto attack, then ranged power/doubleshot is all you care about. Fury gives big crit bonuses with adrenaline, so you can get giant chunks of damage, especially with active attacks.

I've actually never heard this. I've only ever heard of good ranged players playing in Shiradi or Fury of the Wild. Legendary Dreadnaught doesn't make sense to me. Even before the last Epic Destiny revamp when Dreadnaught was mostly the best destiny in the game, ranged characters still played in Fury because of the massive crits.

from my understanding they use LD with the epic purifying quiver that makes ranged dmg blunt. pulverizer adds +1 to crit range for bludgeoning.
