Default I can't give this company money if I wanted to how is it in business

I have been trying to purchase VIP for 12 hours now and can't with any payment method. I get the error "the payment cannot be made at this time, please try again later or contact xsolla customer support". So I contacted xsolla live chat and they said I had to put in a support ticket through the DDO store screen, so I did that and now I have been ignored for half a day. Is SSG really in such dire straits that customer billing is this messed up? I just wanted to get ready for the next hardcore league.

If you own the quest packs you wont need vip for hardcore not that this helps with the issue.

I am now left with no way to play this game. Xsolla customer support told me to put in a ticket using the link in the DDO store. The response to that ticket told me to go to back to Xsolla customer support. So you can’t support billing for any more customers? I played the last hardcore league with VIP just fine, nothing has changed with my bank or debit card, I did not do a charge back or otherwise take any similar action, so what the ****?

    Try xsolla support again.

Ask them to check if there is a hold on your account, and ask them to clear it.

This happened to me, and xsolla had to fix it, not SSG.

It is like going to a museum and bragging about how fast you made it through. Or bragging about how fast you finished a good steak.

Default I had a similar issue.

Ok, the issue you are having is NOT with SSG but the payment system, the ONLY way around it is for you to contact SSG directly. You can still have them put a VIP purchase through, but you need to contact them via https://help.standingstonegames.com/hc/en-us in order to get that to happen.
On that link goto the DDO block, third from the top. Click on "See more articles in this category" on the next page on the right hand size you have a "Contact Support" button there. That takes you to "Submit a Request" if you click on the box below its a drop down menu. Select "I am experiencing Purchasing Issues" Its the 3rd option down.
Fill in ALL the details required in there for such and they will get back to you. They will go through talking you through changing your payment details and so forth, this is done within the game in the DDO Store, if you havent found it before its under your username that shows in the top right corner. Check in there to see that you dont have a payment system that is NO longer supported. Many payment systems got removed. If you use Paypal, try removing it and re-adding it. If you use a credit/debit card, check that your credit/debit card is correct and hasnt expired. Also check to see that your card, through a banking app and such, doesnt have a block feature to stop online purchases, if it does then that will stop you purchasing, and before you say that it doesnt, just check with your bank to see, some banks have moved recently into adding such security and never informed their customers clearly enough, aka they buried that detail in a lengthy email of new features. Also try removing and adding the card back into the system.
If none of that works, contact them back on the email they contact you on and the final thing that will need to be done is that YOU give them written permission to charge the card on file, if you have Paypal it is much easier for them to do the payment through than the card. You will be asked to provide personal information with them in order to also do the payment, even if it is going through Paypal.

I actually had to do this when purchasing Fables because the new payment system on the website didnt work. It is the same for ingame stuff because I have also done such in the past when purchasing a gift for a friend.

Am I the only one who seems to think this is a bad recipe for a business to have? Make it near impossible for members to spend with them? I contacted them recently as to the two-tiered payment system (they take a random total under $2 and you use it as security verification). I have been defrauded in the past by such a system, where small random totals are siphoned from your account, in the hopes that you wont notice these, so I contacted them to come to some sort of arrangement, considering they take my VIP fees with no problems. I got absolutely no help whatsoever and was told to suck it up basically.Taking my money or renaming a boot or belt... difficult choice?! What they don't seem to understand is, it isn't me suffering. I have enough expansion packs etc to keep me well occupied. The extras such as TP points is nice, but with patience can accumulate accordingly. They on the other hand, have lost out on having me spend more with them... and I guess I am not the only one.

Like I said... a bad recipe, hampering people to invest in your product.

Snort... how true?! Been registered since 2012, at that too. No idea why it is only registering since 2017. But yeah... peeved me no end, me wanting to give them my money and them telling me to get knotted.
