Default Watch out for guild robbers

To all guilds here on Argo.

Don't keep anything valuable in your member-level chests OR invite to your guild only trusted persons.

We had a situation recently that we invited a guy who cleaned all our guild chests so beware. Guy was smart, used translator to fool one of our officers to join our language oriented guild. Waited when noone was online and the next day it was over.

Not a big loss, dozen of low level tomes (skill and abilities), bunch of community loot (titan wands etc), ~2k bigby hands we used to train guild newbies (all from daily dices so no worries). But that feeling of being cheated and robbed, doh!

Unfortunately this is not new, as this has occurred since the guild chests were introduced. Any time you invite anyone to your guild ship you open yourself up, this is why it should have always been done with caution. PUGs for ship invite? Rarely.

it is safe to invite for buffs, only guild members can access chests in guild vault.

Stealing the Bigby's - that's just weak. Little to no resale value, did far more harm to the guild than value to the thief. Poster child for self-centered and unthinking.

But the lesson here is to not put anything in the "member" chests that you care about. The 2 "Officer" chests would be the place for things like the Bigby's, etc., that Officers can hand out if/as the need arises. (I often see the general-access chests used for things like half-decent lowbie droploot weapons, spell scrolls, +1d6 ammo, etc etc. If someone is so low to steal those to sell, they're so helpless in the game that you almost feel sorry for them. )
