Q-Staff attack speed stacking question.

Specifically does the 15% speed bonus from Thief Acrobatics in T1 of Thief Acrobat tree stack with the 15% speed bonus from Chemical Weapon in T5 of Alchemist's Vile Chemist tree?

I suppose I could roll an iconic and test but server is down and I just though of it while considering my next build.

Well if the wiki is right about vile chemist it states:

"Chemical Weapon: Your Simple Weapons gain +1[W]. Simple Thrown Weapons you wield also gain +15% Attack Speed as long as you are holding a Simple Weapon, Orb, Rune Arm, or nothing in your off hand."

This means your q-staff which is a simple weapon but not a thrown weapon would only get +1[w] from chemical weapon and not +15% attack speed as it is not a thrown weapon.

So to answer your question simply: No they don't stack.

That is how i read it anyway but i have been wrong before.

are you sure that two handers don't count as - the same weapon in the offhand (simple weapon in this case) or no weapon in offhand?

Regardless, i don't think they stack, it is likely a reused acrobat enhancement (same code) hence it is the same bonus.

I am not sure about anything. But as i stated if the wiki is correct the attack speed only applies to simple thrown weapons and not staves...
