    Default Created a new Universal Tree: Battle Archer

    Since DDO came out 15 years ago I have been trying to make a fighter archer. And the character never make it. I have shot bows and crossbows as a trainers for a long time and the unbalancing act between them is crazy. Bows are way faster then crossbows to shoot by a large factor but crossbows get a better punch at short range. At long range their power is about the same (heavier arrow vs higher bolt speed). Anyway I have decide to make an universal AP tree for the fun of it. Tell me what you think.

    Battle Archer

    Core

    Battle Archer 1 : Need to equip a non-magical bow (no enchant, no crafting). Your bow receive a +2 enhancement bonus and the magical damage type. For every Core taken your bow will receive another +2 bonus to a max of +12.
    AP Cost 1 Rank 1 Progression 0 no requirement

    Battle Archer 2 : Your arrows now deal bludgeoning, piercing, and slashing damage.
    AP Cost 1 Rank 1 Progression 5 Require: Battle Archer 1, Lvl 3

    Battle Archer 3 : Your bow get a +1 enhancement bonus to critical multiplier.
    AP Cost 1 Rank 1 Progression 10 Require: Battle Archer 2, Lvl 6

    Battle Archer 4 : Your bow get a +1 enhancement bonus to critical range.
    AP Cost 1 Rank 1 Progression 20 Require: Battle Archer 3, Lvl 12

    Battle Archer 5 : For every core taken you get a +5% enhancement ranged attack speed bonus.
    AP Cost 1 Rank 1 Progression 30 Require: Battle Archer 4, Lvl 18

    Master Bowman: +4 DEX, +20 Doubleshot.
    AP Cost 1 Rank 1 Progression 40 Require: Battle Archer 5, Lvl 20

    Tier 1

    Scout Training : Gain +1 / +2 / +3 to Listen and Spot. Rank 3: you gain +1 to Will saving throws.
    AP Cost 1 Rank 3 Progression 1 no requirement

    Bowman Training : Gain +1 / +2 / +3 to Doubleshot.
    AP Cost 1 Rank 3 Progression 1 no requirement

    Fletcher Training : Activate: Create 250 arrows with 20 / 40 / 60 % returning.
    AP Cost 1 Rank 1 Progression 1 no requirement

    Trick Shot 1 : Choose one : +50% Incite or +50% Ranged Diversion.
    AP Cost 2 Rank 1 Progression 1 no requirement

    Scout Training : Gain +1 / +2 / +3 to Hide and Move Silently. Rank 3: you gain +1 to Fortification saving throws.

    AP Cost 1 Rank 3 Progression 5 Require : Bowman Training tier 1

    Fletcher Training : Your created arrows now have 80 / 100 % returning.
    AP Cost 1 Rank 2 Progression 5 Require: Fletcher Training tier 1 rank 3

    Trick Shot 2 : Activate: Your next shot lower target speed movement by 30%. 12 seconds Cooldown.

    Bowman Training : Toggle: Choose a new damage type: Fire / Cold / Shock / Acid. When active your damage will now be 50% pierce / Bludgeon / Slashing and 50% chosen damage type.

    Bowman Training : Toggle: Choose a second damage type: Fire / Cold / Shock / Acid. When active your damage will now be 50% pierce / Bludgeon / Slashing and 50% choosen damage type. Only 1 can be active at the time.

    Battle Hardened Multishot as now a cooldown of 90 sec.
    AP Cost 2 Rank 1 Progression 30 no requirement

    Fletching Master Make your arrow even more deadly. +2 attack and damage.
    AP Cost 2 Rank 1 Progression 30 no requirement

    Called Shot Activate : +5 (W) attack with a +5 attack bonus, give you and your allies a +5 attack bonus for the next 20 seconds. 60 seconds Cooldown.

    I wouldn't hold my breath, as this year's producer letter mentions the bow-focused universal tree Horizon Walker. Let's see how this turns out.

    Yes, Idea Guy!
    They will now take your exact entire game design idea and transplant it directly into the game.
    This definitely happens in video games.

    We're posting suggestions, hoping the devs will so much as throw a microsecond's glance at the topics, this dude over here is designing the actual intricacies of the game content like it's about to be copy pasted straight into the game. Talk about optimism!
