There's never been any sorting needed. It's part of the Coin Lord Code - if you don't always keep your coins sorted, you obviously don't care about them and should be separated from them at the earliest opportunity. Allowing anyone to sort your coin is an opportunity to be stolen from and that just makes another body to be disposed of...
