What are you talking about? How can you guys who play obscure video games be such luddites? The game is perfectly playable on an HDD. Installing onto an SSD improves your load times.
HOWEVER.
Some modern HDD's are pretty fast - inversely, some SSD's are worthlessly slow. It's entirely possible to install this game on an SSD and actually get WORSE loading times.
Assuming that EVERYONE has an SSD as C: drive and EVERYONE has an HDD on D: drive makes you sound like you just got a pre-assembled computer as opposed to making your own, because that's pretty much the industry standard for assembling PC's. Some of us have a 2nd SSD set to D: or whatever, why assume everyone has a uniform setup?
There was no need to talk about directory names, all you needed to say HDD slow, SSD fast.
