It is shocking to me how much worse alchemist feels after the patch

I don't mind the damage nerf, I don't mind the spell point increase. Yeah, I get it.

But the cooldown increase? Feels miserable. I've had to rework my rotation to continue casting but the more filler spells don't seem worth casting most of the time so I find myself just kinda derping until the good spells come off cooldown, which happens a lot less now.

Part of the appeal to alchemist for me was how quickly everything came out and how good it felt to constantly be chucking things.

Have you tried out the inflict admixtures? They've got a pretty hefty kick now, there's 2 SLA versions that don't require much investment to get & they won't heal undead enemies (the black unicorns are another matter) but still heal any friendly pale masters in the AoE.
