Default Best Graphics Card For DDO?

Not sure if this is the place to ask this, kind of doubt it is but here's my question!

If I want to get the absolute best possible experience with DDO, what is the minimum graphics card that can achieve this?

Like if my pc is built for DDO, what card is the best without being more than is necessary for achieving the best experience possible?

Which of these cards would hit the sweet spot?

Would there be any benefit of having a card more powerful than the ones I listed here for DDO?

    R9 380 4GB
    R9 290
    RX 570
    R9 290X
    GTX 970
    R9 390
    R9 390X
    GTX 980
    GTX 980 Ti
    GTX 1060
    GTX 1060 Ti
    GTX 1070

I have the RX 570 and I play on Ultra, except for the BLUR options, I don't like it. RX 570 give me 60FPS+ easily.

    I7 2600
    RX 570 4GB
    8GB RAM

What I think is bad has nothing to do with graphics, but with design.

Many cosmetics and items with an oriental MMO style.

DDO is an old game, dont expect so much (graphics).

Does it allow you to use Directx 12 on DDO?

Also, is Directx 12 working well on DDO yet for anyone?

Default It is an old game!!!

This game and the graphics are so old basically any graphics from the last 10 years will work fine. In fact I started out playing back in 2010 with a Nvidia GT 210 and was doing medium graphics back then. I currently am using an AMD RX 580 with 8GB of vram, and prior to that it was a GT 740 and I could max out all the graphics. All of these graphics cards were on the same computer, an old Dell Precision T3500 with a Xeon X5670 and 12GB of ram.

I haven't seen any announcement that they (SSG) are planning to support the new Directx 12 API.

There's no real point to adding DX12 support. They'd be better off porting to a Vulkan engine, but that would require a massive refactoring of the code.

You don't even need a GPU to run this game on ultra high settings. I played for many years with only an a10-6700 APU (integrated graphics) on ultra high settings and still got around 60 fps. I am now running on a GTX 1660 Super and getting about 140-150 fps and, while movement and such is a bit smoother, the actual graphic quality didn't change much. Now, on Skyrim SE, there is a HUGE difference but that is a graphic intense game unlike DDO.

These low requirements makes DDO still playable on older PCS. Which is a plus, as I see it.

Be careful, though, you should install DirextX 9 regardless. This is an old game, and there might still be a huge part of it based on that.

What screen resolution are you running though. Anyone can get good frame rates running 640x480
