Sometimes I open up the in game map to see more of where things are. You know, the purpose of a map.
You can customize the size of the map window. Areas that are bigger you can scroll to move your view, most ones that are smaller simply fit inside the window and don't change it's dimensions... but then, there are some that DO change your window dimensions to match the tiny map, and you can't change them back until you're in a different area.
I know I know, everyone's talking about the upcoming patch and the mechanical changes within, but THIS issue has been annoying me for years and not only is it still a huge annoyance in the old quests/areas it applies to, but now I see the newest expansion has (at least one so far) area that does this too.
I've learned to never open the in game map on an airship, in the outside area of Sunrise (here it actually shrinks your window to be smaller than the actual area, and you can watch your blue location marker dots go off screen), and now I see the outside area of Make Believe does this too. (there may be other areas that mess with your map window dimensions, but these are the ones I know from the top of my head).
Please can this be fixed at some point?
