Question: Will there be a 15 year anniversary

Unless I’m counting wrong, this year should be the 15th of DDO. Just wondering if there is nothing planned to mark the passing?

Assuming it’s a “Yes” what would everyone like to see?

Megaserver(s)! Make an npc on current servers that will give guild leaders an airship token or something, and when you transfer over to new server, can exchange it for the same airship. Give big guild xp boosts. I think most people would be happy to level up their guild again if it meant significantly better game performance. Aren't airships the main concern since people might've played AS for theirs? Our guild is 166ish and has everything on it pretty much.

Either leave the old servers around (not sure who'd want to play on a ghost town) or after 6 months or something wipe them. If someone still has stuff on it oh well. Next time you take a super extended break have people you know/trust to take care of your stuff for you.

If I recall correctly, a few weeks ago, Mister Cordovan or another person at Standing Stone Games wrote that the Anniversary Party updates would appear on the Test Server during the next Beta Test. That Beta Test came and went so I suspect the changes to the Anniversary Party were held back to keep them a surprise. The Anniversary Free Gift always gets announced at the start of the Anniversary.

Also, the odds of influencing an event by posting a suggestion thread a week before it launches are very probably zero. Also, also, someone else made this exact same thread two weeks ago and the odds of affecting the event back then were also very probably zero. I suggest suggesting 6 to 12 weeks before an event to have any hope of influencing it. You need to give the developers enough time to consider an idea, discuss it around the water cooler, make time in the schedule, and then implement. If a developer is actively discussing something in the Forums like Miss Lynnabel used to do, you can influence something closer to the event. I do not see her around anymore so best get the suggestions in early.
