Default How do people get such high numbers?

How do people get such high statistics?

For example PRR, MRR, AC DC's of abilities, HP, Hit Chance, Overall Damage, Abilities, and everything else that goes into this game, so high??? I just don't understand how you're able to get your numbers so big? Is it the stacking of tiny increasements over the leveling process? Gear? Please enlighten me on how people are able to do this?
    I'm trying...

Powercreep...nothing but powercreep. Apparently the recipe for challenge in an MMORPG has been set by Oprah...ie. You (the mobs) get bigger numbers and you (the players) get bigger numbers and you (the monsters again) get bigger numbers...
Dennis the Peasant: Listen. Strange women lying in ponds distributing swords is no basis for a system of government. Supreme executive power derives from a mandate from the masses, not from some farcical aquatic ceremony.

If someone has max reaper points then in reaper mode they will have a huge increase of everything that matters, hit points being the most noticeable thing.

Then, yeah, it is a matter of gear and past lives. If someone has 150 past lives they will accumulate a lot of little increments that add up to a huge boost.

One of the biggest leaps that is actually obtainable is optimizing your level 29 named gear. The named items and artifacts represent a huge increase in power relative to standard level 29 and 30 loot. Thinking though how to maximize items, set bonuses, and sentient item filigrees for your class counts for a lot - and is relatively easy to farm, especially compared to 150 past lives or maxing reaper points.

Without a gazillion past lives or reaper points, maxing end game gear by planning it out and farming strategically will get you to a point where you can do R1 and R2 relatively reliably, even soloing. From that foothold into reaper, you can start to claw your way into the rest of the increases the very high numbers people have. EDIT: if you want to. You could ignore reaper altogether and still get stats that are high enough to dominate non-reaper mode, without a ton of past lives

Edit 2: I bet if you post your character and what you are specifically trying to achieve, someone will post a way for you to get there or almost there that doesn't require reaper, a ton of past lives, temp boosts like alchemical or yugoloth, etc.

    Default Lots of Min/Max

I would hit up the achievement section and just look at some of the numbers that people are capable of doing.

When looking into ways to increase Melee damage, some/lots of people have two Sentient weapons with different stacking short term buffs.

Also, when people post their screenshots look at all the gear swap/clickies that are being used.

DDO has some many bonus types that stack and the top players stack their stack with stacks.
