2021 Hopes and Dreams

So, here is a list of "Hopes and Dreams" for the 2021 season:

1. ED Update

2. Level Cap Increase

3. Mega Server/ Server Merge or able to join groups from any server for quests.

4. More Dual Filigrees

5. Dodge Cap Augment ( Level 16= +1, Level 28= +2)

6. Increase to Reaper
: Reaper cosmetics for 100,125,150,175,200,225,250, etc
: Fill in empty spaces in trees ( possible 15 more points to spend)
: Add Tier 6 to each reaper tree ( able to spend at level 31). This would add 18+ more points.

7. Added Mounts Tigers, Raptors, etc

8. Bow Tree Update

9. Monk Update

10. Guild Level Increase

I have good hopes for 2021 as well, one thing of them is that seasons come as a quartet.

Would like new augments for sure, mobility and quick draw on an augment would rock.
More dual filigries, ok there are a lot of sets that don't have a dual.

Rest is pritty much a given, might be so different color on the exact details.
Except the mega server.
I doubt reaper will get a tier 6, but who knows.
Monk has been talked about that it will be somewhat updated. Prob modelled after Alchemist, so no longer grandmaster of forms with just 2 levels of monk.

My hopes:
- Kobolds iconic sorcerer in sonic, will be a group of 3. Have no idea how they'll get that to work.
- A separate bank for glamour/cosmetic stuff.
- A belt on which you can store your spell ingredients.
- A new tr system for familiars, complete with its own trees.

1. "Fix" (greatly improve) lag
2. Quality-of-life fixes: bug fixes, UI improvements, storage improvements, et cetera
3. Keep adding more quests and raids (and wilderness areas). You can't go wrong with more content. More endgame content is great. And I'd also like to see some more Heroic content added. We haven't had any plain, old, Heroic quests added since, what, the Shadowfell prequests in 2013?
4. NO LEVEL CAP RAISE. It does nobody any good. There is just no sufficient reason to renege on your promise that 30 was the permanent level cap, and put us back into a content-free end-game wasteland like when level cap was raised above 20. Perpetual TRists can keep perpetually TRing regardless of the level cap, and end-game players would have their game destroyed by a level cap increase. Do you really want to undo the years of work actually rebuilding a set of endgame content? For what?

And irrespective of the semantics, it's still a very bad idea and their "intention" is one they should stick to because it was right.

Level cap increase is nothing but power creep and doesn't accomplish anything they can't do by horizontal expansion. There is zero point in just having bigger numbers for bigger numbers sake. Invalidating people's time and effort is not progress.

Rowan never worked for SSG, he was gone after 2014, we have Vyvyane for a short while then it moved to Severlin in 2015. 2016 is when SSG split from turbine and had to remove all connection/links to turbine.

What do you mean by plain old heroic quests? Non epic? Don't see why any new quest shouldn't be heroic and epic...like you said, can't go wrong with more content

We would need more storage for a lot of these wishes: Level Cap Increase, Added Mounts and Bow Tree Update.
I don't know what is their priority, but storage should be one.
Would be nice if they decided to upgrade their hardware for their servers. And maybe merge half of them.
Should have more guild goals like Sev wanted. Maybe something like Guild Daily Dice when providing 1000 Guild Renown to the guild. Like a silver roll or a gold roll kind of.

Permanent is in quotations. It is also from 2014. So it would seem that the intention was never to be "permanent". Just some wordsmithing to subdue some rage.

2. Update to savant trees or radiant servants. They have been the same since... forever.

3. Feywild raid soon.

4. A producer's letter soon. Been waiting an entire month and my heart is fragile, lol.

I don't see why any specific new quest shouldn't be both, but I also don't see why every single new quest has to be both. Why shouldn't we also have a bit of new Heroic content more often than every 7 years? I'm not trying to insist that nothing is both Heroic and Epic; we've had lots of that, but I'm fine with more of that too. This is about our hopes and dreams, right? I hope and dream that we'll get at least some new Heroic content.

If it's really your hope and dream that we never again get any content that's simply Heroic, well, you're free to wish for that. But I have to say, trying to deny a type of content I would enjoy is a way more selfish hope and dream than me asking for a wider variety of content by including some of something we haven't seen in years.

4. No change to ED. Do not do to ED what was done to Lotro LI, which is a horrible, horrible game killing mistake

I just dont see how it adds anything to a Heroic quest by arbitrarily not making it Epic, or what the Heroic quest loses if there's an Epic version too. You're always free to not run it if you dont like it in Epics.

AFAIC every Heroic quest can eventually be Epic-ified.

they get stopped pretty much at level 21 because there is simply no content to play.
