I have seen the idea of a "Reaper Tower" instead of reaper Trees thrown around a few times, but never with much detail, other than simply static bonuses at each Reaper point total.
How would we want this to work, if implemented?
I assume the easiest way would be to take all of the benefits of all three reaper trees, summing them together and deciding at what reaper level that would be reasonable to have it at, and make a simple scaling system based off that.
Example: USP in reaper trees total to 48 USP. A typical blaster caster would mainly focus on the caster and defensive tree, so the target would be a capped version of those two trees. That is 102 RP. That is close to 1USP per 2 RP, so we can use that.
Repeat that process for each stat granted by Reaper trees, and now you have a simple, build agnostic, reaper tower, that will have a similar power ballpark as before.
Now, how to make this work without lag. Make it a single buff, probably a single auto-granted feat that is X Reaper Points, which is replaced by a single feat of X+1 Reaper Points once that time comes, similar to how a upgrade stat tome upgrades a Stat increase feat.
Since we are talking tome feats, this would also allow an easy way to mimic the HP and effect scaling that we currently have on live. Just like tomes have character level thresholds for when they activate, RP could be similar, working at around 5/CL, or something like that.
