un nerf necromancy tree for wizards

im able to amp my necro up with the spell power but, it seems that all that effort and action points is wasted on the necro tree with it being nerfed. there are not that many damaging necro spells to begin with or throughout levels 1-20 ( spell level 1-9) it hurts the wizard class as a whole making it so EK tree is the only thing good for hard play. the necro tree is only used for necro healing at this point and the teir 5 is used for the stacking 5% lich spell discount if that is even bothered with. the only way the necro blast seems good is on the lower difficulties

While the idea of adding a level 3, 5, and 7 level Necro spell would be sweet..........my experience with the PM tree is quite different than yours. I cant imagine being more powerful really.

PM is not supposed to be a nuke tree, Necro is not supposed to be a nuke school. Work on building up your Necromancy DC and take advantage of the instakills it has, particularly Wail in L9.

Plus you're going to need a second element for DPS anyway with the plethora of neg-immune mobs, no one can be a 100% pure Negative caster (except Alchemist VCs, bleh)...so you can lean on those spells more for your nuking needs.

Uhhh yeah you must not be using necro right lol. As a pure necro with a bunch of nullification gear on, your SLAs do really high damage. I use a non-meta'd necrotic ray and it hits for like 3k. Meta'd sometimes it can crit for like 30k, which really sucks if you accidentally heal heh.
