    Just off the top of my head, almost all of Sacred Defender, and the best of it, doesn't work when Raged, whereas almost all of Fury of the Wild, and the best of it, only works when Raged. (edit: or simulates rage, ie, adrenaline. In my experience none of the adrenalines proc when Sacred Defense is active)

    One or the other has to give.

    Played around a bit with Fury of the Wild, updated the original post with the changes.

    Having played about every variation of pally possible of last year, year and half, I can only offer a few suggestions....
    1) dont use str as dump stat...this allows you to work in stunning blow and pa( see why later)..I think better dps comes from str based pally with strong con and char as secondary stats..plus by not dumping str and with high char and divine might, you open up better numbers on stunning blow and trip
    2) consider 16 con to start allows you to help allocate points to details above
    3) leveling order to me can be tweaked, wouldnt wait so long to take ithf, gthf
    4) feat selection...i would remove weapon focus and child of faith...instead i would offer up power attack and extra turning (for caf)
    5) if sold on charisma for attack and damage as your build shows, i would definitely run Fatesinger...it sets up so so good for a charisma based pally...plus it gives you two free fantastic options in tree ( martial hymn and grim fate) without using as twists...Str based toons i still like LD for the reason of boost to mp when you hit that plus filagree set up(prowess, santified fervor) gives even more increase to mp
    6) tweak how you spend your points in kotc and sd...def get to 30 in sd and trim your kotc down to get to that number

    For more DPS:

    Ditch Sacred Defender for 23 AP in Falconry for 30% helpless damage.
    Spend 7 AP in Feydark Illusionist for CHA to hit/dmg.

    You don't need the DCs from PDK when you have Divine Might and CHA to-hit/dmg from Feydark. That allows you to go Wood Elf with Tail of Suulomades.

    Gearing:
    * Swap boots for Slavers with Sheltering, Deception, Shatter, Q CHA instead.
    * Band of Insightful Commands isn't worth it just for the Quality Deadly. Use Lionheart Ring instead.
    * That allows you to swap out your cloak to Cloak of Summer for the doublestrike.
    * That allows you to swap out your neck for the Family Recruit Sigil for Relentless Fury. Also provides True Seeing which is a PITA unless you're running in Fatesinger 24/7.
    * That allows you to swap out Executioner's Helm for Titania's Song with 10 MP.
    * Drop the belt for Belt of the Ram. Now you have 3pc Summer which provides 15% additional fortification bypass. You also have max STR gear, which combined with Divine Might gives you a very functional Trip.
    * Goggles 21 WIS/10 CHA.
    * Slot Alluring Elocution 3pc.

    Net DPS: +14 hit, +25 dmg, +10 MP (-10 MP if you had a fullstack of Stealer of Souls, but that's not applicable in raids), +15% fortification bypass, +19 stunning (delta) with a functional Trip. You can also create a swap-in sentient jewel with +11 CHA before activating Divine Might for additional hit/damage and tactics.

    If you go Wood Elf: An additional +11 dmg, 3% doublestrike, 6% to-hit from the racial enhancement tree.

    Tremor is the best weapon for a Silvanus Paladin...by far.

    You could always choose Helm for the ability to hot-swap between Greatswords and B-sword + guardbreaking buckler as the situation demands. B-Swords aren't the best DPS in the game, obviously, but guardbreaking is an alternative way to CC enemies when epic leveling or when Dire Charge is on cooldown. Also, choosing Helm instead of Silvanus would help the critics realize that this build (in its current iteration) is a Cormyrean Knight Training for CHA to hit/dmg paladin, not a Silvanus maul paladin.


    However, if your goal is MAX DPS and nothing else matters, I'm going to have to second the idea of ditching Sacred Defender for 23 points in Falconry for extra helpless damage, using a Maul instead of a Greatsword, and then either going STR based or going Feydark for CHA to hit/dmg.


    Personally, when I did a similar build I actually went even deeper into Sacred Defender than you did and got the level 18 core ability, because I decided to prioritize lay-on hands charges over MAX DPS.

    no worries im keeping my eye on this thread as im running a pdk pally that i havnt taken the 1 fighter out yet/ havnt decided if i want to go str based and silvanus or cha based and silvanus

    Trinket- Battleworn medal or Bloodrage

    Gear tetris hell, lol. So accurate. Decent gear set here. Shame there isn't room for Resistance or Magical Sheltering. Battleworn Medal doesn't really compare to Bloodrage Chrism. The Greater Heroism used to be a decent selling point but Feywild has a GH augment now, which you can just put on Bloodrage... If you need the Quality Charisma, maybe you can swap out Ironclad Armbands for some (Shelt/Resistance/Intim/Qua Cha) Shackles?

    I love Force of Personality. But you are right, Power Critical is neither powerful nor critical, unless there is some catch of which I am unaware.

    I generally like Power Attack in heroics, but Precision in high epics and reapers is the better choice. I usually swap out when I hit 20.

    I was asking about Power Critical because its an enhancement in the KOTC tree and using a feat on it is kinda ???
