    Default Channel the Abyss Appearance

I'm interested in making an Abyss Warlock. I have a lot of Palemaster-type gear but I really don't care for Wizards.

One thing I'd like to know first though, does Channel the Abyss have a cool effect like the various Palemaster forms do, or is it just a toggle with no visual effect on your character? I remember it was the latter on Lamannia, but I'm wondering what it looks like on live. Anyone make an Abyss Warlock?

Edit: Can confirm Channel the Abyss does not have a visual effect.

It's a shame there's no special appearance for your character when they have Channel the Abyss toggled. It would be pretty cool if the old vampire eyes were brought back from Palemaster. I remember back in the day Wraith had some cool eyes too that were orange and left a trail behind your character.

Right, no FX for the form, which is sad, but the FX for the blast is great. Sadly more then a third of the mobs in the game are immune to the negative damage, which makes it a very bad pact ( and a small number of mobs are healed by the pact damage).

It gets even better. Stricken provides enemies a resistance to negative damage so that ability ends up buffing your enemies.

Edit: I sent in a bug report for this one.
