Default Can we Have ddo store items with sockets?

I would totally spend ddo points to buy something like gloves with a yellow socket for crafting. Just saying the last 2 days I wanted to craft some gloves to fill in my stat needs but there hasn't been any with yellow/green sockets available on the regular market or shard market.

No. The lesser gear options in the store the better. Besides, if the auction is shy, I am sure anyone into crafting, like myself, has tons of green socket blanks lying about. So you should find what you need in general chat or even your guild. You have to check the auction every few days for all socketed gear for crafting, not just when you are ready to craft an item, and make sure to mouse over each and every item since some people don't blank them or even know they listed a socketed item.

I don't know how I feel about this, but I'm sure I want to see trinkets with two augment slots from store.

Currently they have ones, but they don't have any.

First, so no one gets confused, and despite most people understanding what you mean, it's called a "slot", not a "socket". The game has more than enough odd terms that we don't need to muddy those waters, especially in anything even remotely associated with crafting. Just sayin'.

Now, to your suggestion, more Pay To Win is a bad plan in my book. If someone wants a toy, have them work for it, don't allow someone to just throw money at it.

    But that's just me.

    There's already basic items & special material crafting blanks in the store, I wouldn't be opposed to having single-slotted weapon blanks & slotted trinkets available in the store, but;
    1) Basic colour only, no orange/purple/green
    2) it's either a slot or a special material, not both on the one item, leave that nightmare flametouched iron crossbow of critical strikes with orange & red slots for those uber rare tasty loot drops
I used to be with it, but then they changed what it was, now what's it is weird and scary to me.

I've always been in favor of having options.
So I'm kinda with the OP here though it might not be for the same reasons.
Not all of us have the same amount of time that they can spend in the game.
So having an option to buy something as futile as a base item with a colored and a colorless slot, I'm all for it.

Of the things most requested is a trinket with an augment slot.
We got many very handy trinkets with all kinds of affixes on them and slots in the last couple of updates.
Like those from "The Lost Gatekeepers".
So perhaps try to search something from there first?

But I have to admit, those are limited by their levels and perhaps also a niche of usefulness?

Trinkets can take a lot of different enhancements, they are very very good at filling gaps in your gear. Obviously since they rarely drop, they will be bought in store.
Named trinkets can not do this but store bought trinkets can not accept a master's gift or any augment.
As since they are most of the time store items, why should they not come with slots?

I know there are options to work around the buying requirement but those also come without a slot. So the ones that need to be bought should come with slots.
You nerfed my monks, throwers, dailies and alchemists.
I hardly play anymore, found a better hobby.
    Thank You!

I didn't really wanted to post since the topic is almost my 'trade secret', or at least if I share my sources then I get less successfull with my endeavours... But hey its almost christmas and the time for giving

So don't expect some huge secret here, its just a nice thing people tend to overlook

If you don't find something nice you are looking for on the AH, go and check out the garbage dumps in the marketplace and Eveningstar. (the broker trader npc-s who resell player items)
While the selection is literally other people's garbage, you can find some real treasure there. You would be suprised what you can pick up every now and then, double aug slot items and even special properties like adamantine + aug slot weapons/armors show up if you are attentive enogh. The main catch is there is no easy AH sorting or guarantee there is anything usefull in the pile, but for crafting blank pickups its a good way to cut down the time compared to hoping something shows up in the auctions

Hope my little insight helped somewhat.
    Cheers.

    Edit:
Just as I finished posting and logging in I picked up a green + blue aug slot glove from Eveningstar :P I don't really need it right now but I think it will be usefull for my next life crafting ( Though at this point I picked up more double aug blanks than I have usefull aug-s for at the moment ^^')
